Are Wall Street Analysts Bullish on Fox Corporation Stock?

New York-based Fox Corporation (FOX) operates as a news, sports, and entertainment company in the United States. Valued at a market cap of $25.8 billion, the company operates in four segments: Cable Network Programming, Television, Credible, and The FOX Studio Lot, and broadcasts through channels such as FOX News, FOX Sports, the FOX Network, FS1, FS2, Fox Deportes, and more.

FOX stock has underperformed the broader market over the past year and in 2026. FOX stock has grown 13.2% over the past 52 weeks and declined 5.1% YTD. In comparison, the S&P 500 Index ($SPX) has returned 18.3% over the past year and risen 11.8% in 2026.

Narrowing the focus, FOX has rallied the State Street Communication Services Select Sector SPDR ETF’s (XLCmarginal rise over the past 52 weeks and has underperformed XLC’s 4.6% fall this year.

On Aug. 6, FOX stock rose 6.1% following the release of its better-than-expected Q4 2026 earnings. The company’s revenue for the quarter rose 28% from the prior year’s quarter to $4.2 billion, driven by a rise in its distribution revenue from growth at the Cable Network Programming segment, as well as a growth in its advertising revenue due to the hugely popular broadcast of the FIFA Men's World Cup and Tubi AVOD service. Moreover, its adjusted EPS for the quarter amounted to $1.79, also topping the Street’s forecasts. 

For the current year, which ends in June 2027, analysts expect FOX’s EPS to rise 9% to $5.91 on a diluted basis. It surpassed the consensus estimate in each of the last four quarters.

FOX has a consensus “Moderate Buy” rating overall. Of the 13 analysts covering the stock, opinions include seven “Strong Buys,” five “Holds,” and one “Moderate Sell.”

The configuration has grown slightly more bullish as the stock now has seven “Strong Buy” ratings, compared to five a month ago.       

On July 9, Bank of America Securities analyst Jessica Reif Ehrlich maintained a “Sell” rating on Fox and set a price target of $54. 

FOX’s mean price target of $71.36 indicates a premium of 15.9% from the current market price. The Street-high target of $85 suggests a notable 38% upside potential.
