Micron Technology has delivered exceptional outperformance, fueled by an explosive supercycle in artificial intelligence infrastructure. The surge has been driven by insatiable global demand for high-bandwidth memory (HBM) and advanced DRAM solutions required for AI data centers, leading to record-shattering revenues, soaring gross margins, and multiple quarters of massive earnings beats that have significantly outpaced the broader semiconductor sector.

For fiscal 2027, ending in August 2027, analysts expect MU’s EPS to grow 136.5% to $177.03 on a diluted basis. The company’s earnings surprise history is impressive. It beat the consensus estimate in each of the last four quarters.

Among the 42 analysts covering MU stock, the consensus is a “Strong Buy.” That’s based on 34 “Strong Buy” ratings, five “Moderate Buys,” and three “Holds.”
