Doximity Deepens U.S. News Alliance to Improve Patient Access to Care

Doximity DOCS recently announced an extension of its 13-year partnership with U.S. News & World Report, strengthening its role in helping patients find physicians and schedule appointments. The company will continue providing physician data for U.S. News' Doctor Finder, supporting its Patient Connect appointment-booking tools. DOCS will also continue to serve as the exclusive third-party provider of the Expert Opinion physician survey used in the Best Hospitals and Best Children's Hospitals rankings.

Per management, Doximity leverages its network of more than 3 million medical professionals across specialties and treatment areas to help Americans identify and connect with appropriate healthcare providers. The company is pleased to extend its strategic partnership with U.S. News & World Report to further support patients in navigating their healthcare needs.

DOCS Stock Trend Following the News

DOCS stock has lost 2.1% since the announcement on Tuesday. Year to date, the stock has declined 32.4% against the industry’s 17.8% growth and the S&P 500’s 12.5% rise.

The extended agreement could support DOCS' growth by reinforcing its relationships with major healthcare information platforms and hospital partners. Continued integration of Doximity's physician data and appointment-booking technology may strengthen demand for its digital solutions while helping hospitals attract patients. The partnership also reinforces the value of Doximity's extensive physician database, creating opportunities to expand its hospital-facing services and deepen its role in the patient acquisition process.

DOCS currently has a market capitalization of $5.45 billion.

More on the News

Doximity will continue supporting three key U.S. News offerings. Its physician data powers Doctor Finder, which helps patients identify doctors and book appointments with hospital partners. Its Patient Connect product enables appointment scheduling and links patients directly to participating healthcare providers. Doximity will also remain the exclusive third-party provider of the Expert Opinion physician survey, which contributes to U.S. News' hospital rankings.

The extended partnership strengthens Doximity’s role as a data provider for U.S. News’ physician- and hospital-facing products, combining U.S. News’ independent rankings and healthcare platform with Doximity’s physician network, data and technology. With over 65 million Americans using U.S. News annually to research healthcare options, the collaboration helps connect patients' care decisions with practical next steps, including finding physicians and scheduling appointments with participating hospitals.
