Canadian Pacific's Holiday Train to Make 182 Stops Across North America

Canadian Pacific Kansas City Limited CP is strengthening its community engagement through the return of its Holiday Train program, which will begin its 32-day journey on Nov. 19 in Montreal. The 2026 program will feature 182 stops across Canada and the United States, combining live musical performances with fundraising efforts to support local food banks. This year’s journey will expand into the southern United States, with 10 first-time stops across Missouri, Mississippi, Louisiana and Texas.

The initiative highlights CP’s commitment to social responsibility and community support. Since 1999, the Holiday Train program has raised more than $28.3 million and collected over 5.6 million pounds of food for community food banks across North America. With millions of people continuing to rely on food banks, the program provides an opportunity for Canadian Pacific to strengthen relationships with local communities while addressing food insecurity.

The 2026 lineup includes performers such as American Authors, Magic, Chase Rice, Allen Stone and Sam Roberts Band, bringing music and holiday celebrations to communities along CP’s network. Attendees are encouraged to contribute cash donations or non-perishable food items, with all contributions staying in the communities where they are collected. The participation of established artists and local residents helps sustain public interest in the program while increasing support for food banks.

Overall, the Holiday Train program demonstrates how Canadian Pacific is leveraging its extensive rail network to create community value beyond its core transportation operations. By combining entertainment, charitable giving and an expanded geographic reach, the initiative reinforces the company’s community-focused reputation while providing meaningful support to families in need during the holiday season.
