Cotton Falls Back Lower on Wednesday

Cotton futures posted Wednesday losses of 21 to 118 points at the close. Crude oil was down 50 cents per barrel on the session, with the US dollar index $0.440 higher.

The Seam reported sales on 3,951 bales on October 6 at an average of 82.22 cents/lb. The Cotlook A index was back up 210 points on Tuesday at 91.45. ICE certified cotton stocks were down 4,435 bales on 10/6, with the certified stocks level at 17,756 bales. The Adjusted World Price was down 93 points last week to 65.16 cents/lb.

Dec 26 Cotton  closed at 80.03, down 118 points,

Mar 27 Cotton  closed at 83.12, down 105 points
