Camden Property Trust Earnings Preview: What to Expect

Valued at a market cap of $10.3 billion, Camden Property Trust (CPT) is a REIT specializing in the ownership, management, development, acquisition, and redevelopment of multifamily apartment communities across the United States. The company currently owns and operates 167 properties with 56,695 apartment homes, with its portfolio expected to expand to 170 properties and 57,857 apartment homes upon completion of three developments under construction.

The Houston, Texas-based company is expected to announce its Q3 2026 results after the market closes on Thursday, Nov. 5. Ahead of the event, analysts expect the REIT to report a FFO of $1.69 per share, down marginally from $1.70 per share in the year-ago quarter. However, the company has consistently surpassed Wall Street’s FFO projections over the past four quarters.

Camden Property Trust shares fell 2.2% following its Q2 2026 results on Jul. 30, as EPS of $0.18 and revenue of $392.94 million both missed analysts’ forecast. The consensus opinion on CPT stock is cautious, with an overall “Hold” rating. Among 25 analysts covering the stock, six recommend a “Strong Buy” rating, one gives a “Moderate Buy” rating, 16 suggest a “Hold” rating, and two recommend a “Strong Sell” rating. The average target price for CPT is $111.14, indicating a potential upside of 8.8% from current price levels.
