Introduction

Please use the Magic Number to govern what trades will be closed.

You MUST provide hard price boundaries for the EA.

If you want the EA to operate at all times, use boundaries that are very high.

e.g. if buy upper limit is 1.17 and buy lower limit is 1.16, the EA will only work when price is in this range.

In case of EURUSD e.g. if I set upper limit as 2 and lower limit as 1, the EA will pretty much all the time.

EA MODE:

Each EA instance can work in AND mode or OR mode.

In AND mode, all the given conditions should be true.

In OR mode, any of the given conditions can be true.

Advanced Feature - Compare buffers

You can compare a buffer of the indicator with another buffer of same or another indicator.

E.g. lets take a chart of EURUSD with macd attached to it.

Window will be 1 (since the chart window is numbered 0)

Indicator will be 0 (since the only indicator in that window. We start count by 0)

Buffers:

- The macd value buffer is 0 (you can check either from data window or ask the developer)

- The macd signal buffer is 1

Now you can compare like this for condition that signal is greater than macd:

2) While the order of the buffer numbers in the data window starts with 0, it is not always in order.

Unlike its predecessor, the MT5 platform no longer supports Offline Charts but it has recently introduced a new feature called Custom Symbols. The Quantum Live Renko Charts indicator for MT5 features two modes:

Compute Best Box Size

Using the indicator in this mode allows you to “convert” a normal candlestick chart to a Renko bar chart by computing the best box size for a particular timeframe. This is computed by calculating the average true range (ATR) of the current symbol within a given period on a specific timeframe.

Fixed Box Size

Using the indicator in this mode allows you to set a constant box size for generating Renko bars. The box size can accept floating point numbers with a precision of up to 2 decimal places.

Settings Label

The indicator displays a label at the top right hand side of its own indicator window containing information about the parameters currently in effect. This allows you to manage all instances of the Quantum Live Renko Chart with ease.

The Quantum Currency Heatmap instantly displays the “hottest” and “coldest” areas of the forex landscape. And this is where it gets interesting: horizontally, the performance scores of each currency pair are displayed in 9 timeframes which are 1 minute, 5 minutes, 15 minutes, 30 minutes, hourly, 4 hours, daily, weekly, and monthly.

If we start with the performance scores. This is the value the indicator assigns to each currency pair representing how positively or negatively its price moved over a certain period. It can be either of the two colors depending on its value, and this is the color coding used when viewing the currency pairs ACROSS the time horizon – the horizontal!

Green – if the currency pair’s performance score is positive.
Red – if the currency pair’s performance score is negative

However, the pairs are then ranked VERTICALLY using a dynamic graded color code, transitioning from green, to yellow and to red in that order. The performance scores of the currency pairs in 9 timeframes are added together. The currency pairs are then ranked by their sum from the most positive to the most negative, and are color coded as follows:

The gradation of color is dynamic. Hence the transition of colors will depend entirely on the sum of the currency pair’s performance scores in the 9 timeframes as explained above. As with all our other indicators, this is dynamic and is constantly shifting in real time to reflect the ebb and flow of sentiment across the timeframes.

The indicator applies a weighting in the ranking ladder to reflect the fact that a trend in a slower timeframe has a greater significance than one in a faster timeframe.

Volume Point of Control Line- this is drawn as a single line on the highest volume of the High Volume Node in the timeframe and clearly defines the tipping point of sentiment. This moves dynamically and represents the fulcrum of market sentiment. If it is above the price action, then the current market sentiment is bearish. If it is below the current price action, then the current market sentiment is bullish. The VPOC Line reveals this balance simply, quickly and clearly allowing you to judge market sentiment with accuracy and confidence.

Once any of these signals appears beside a currency pair, it is flagging the potential for an impending change in direction of the trend, which can then be considered further by analysis of the chart. For example, if the EUR/GBP is seen near the top of the table, and beside it is an OB signal, it means that although the uptrend is seemingly strong, the bullish strength driving it may be reaching an exhaustion point, and starting to diminish with a possible change in direction in due course. Time to check this on the charts.

Second, the indicator displays the same 28 major currency pairs as lines that diffuse out creating the array, with varying magnitudes depending on the strength and inclination of each currency pair’s trend. This means the order in which they appear vertically, follows the same ranking in the table alongside, but as a graphical display, instantly, visually and numerically revealing the actual steepness of each currency pair’s trend. Of all the four principle capital markets, the world of foreign exchange trading is the most complex and most difficult to master, unless of course you have the right tools! The reason for this complexity is not hard to understand.

First currencies are traded in pairs. Each position is a judgment of the forces driving two independent markets. Finally, we come to the third problem, which is trying to assess the strength of this buying or selling. After all a currency may be overbought (strong) or oversold (weak) but how strong is strong, and how weak is weak.

Consider this for a moment. Assume you have decided to buy the GBP/USD and have the following information to help you in your analysis:

Whether the GBP is also being bought in all the other cross currency pairs
Whether the USD is also being sold in all the other major currency pairs
The relative strength of buying in the GBP/USD pair

Trading success is all about assessing risk and the probability of success on each trade. Would this information give you a high risk, medium or low risk trading position? And the answer……... is a low risk trading opportunity. After all, you are now taking a position based on a view across the market.

First, if you are basing your decision on universal buying or selling of a currency, then you are trading with the entire weight of the market, and not just on the analysis of one currency pair - it's low risk.
Second, if you know the relative strength of this buying or selling against all the other currency pairs, then this gives you the complete picture - if its strong, then again - it's low risk.
Third and last, if you know what the counter currency is also doing in terms of strong or weak, then once more if its strong - it's low risk.

This is where the Quantum currency matrix steps in. It provides the solution to all three problems in one elegant indicator, and is a complimentary indicator to the Quantum currency strength indicator. It shows you the complete picture across the market in a simple matrix, which works in all timeframes from 1 minute to 1 month.

From the eight major currencies come the 28 currency pairs which are then displayed in a table, with their relative strength scores, updated second by second and minute by minute. Idea

I programmed this tool out of the necessity to be constantly informed about what is going on. Before I sometimes forgot to set a stopp loss, this is impossible with this tool. Further this tool allows you to make distributed entries, eg. with a first feeler with 0.1 contracts and when the direction is the right one you just put more contacts into the game. Money- and risk management is built in. If you use more then the predetermined number of contracts there is a warning. You are constantly informed about your win/loss situation. The tool warns you, if your wins grow too big or you enter trades with too many contracts. It informs you about the state of the ADX-Indicator, so that you are warned about illiquid states of the market.

Installation

You have to unchecked \"Chart in foreground\" in the properties menu. Otherwise it might prevent you to click the buttons if there is some chart element over it.

The default Values are set for Indices (Dax, Dow etc.). Be aware that you have to change the settings for currencies as follows:

distance stop buy from 2 to about 0.00005 (5 Pipettes)

stop loss from 1500 to about 30 (Points)

please test the settings first in a demo account. Save your settings in a.set file.

Learning to use

Just practice the tool in a demo account. Be aware that there are \"one click orders\", which might be very dangerous.

Before you Buy/Sell you have to select the volume by clicking on the blue buttons. You cannot buy/sell, if the volume is set

to 0. By default the volume is reset after 50 ticks to zero for security reasons.

If you click \"Buy\" without selecting a volume you get the following message: Buy() method failed. Return code=10014. Code description: invalid volume

Inputs

Funds at morning (enter your funds when you start trading)
Max allowed contracts (if you have more than the allowed number app will say \"too many contracts\"
Max daily win (you can enter your maximal win, so that you know when to stop trading, think of euphoria!)
distance stop buy (distance from ask for stopp buy or limit buy)
distance stop sell (distanc from bid for stopp sell or limit sell)
Stop Loss *100 (Stop Loss in points, eg. Dow = 15 points = 1500)
Take Profit * 100 (Take profit in points, eg. Dow = 60 points = 6000)
Contracts Button 1 - 3 (assign number of contracts to button 1 to 3)
Initialize number contracts (Default 0, number of contracts are reset to this value, can be 0.1 or 1, too)
Start trading broker time (for security, not that you trade e.g. at night when the spread is 7 points)

Issues

Lines in the graph may obstruct the buttons (chose \"Chart in Foreground\")

Applicaton may start only 1 to 2 minutes after installation

I use this tool for about one year, there are no serious issues. Be sure to test the application in a demo account first.

For security reasons the contract number is reset after 50 ticks (default), sound says \"contracts reset to zero\". You have to select the contract number again after that.

Be sure to have the chart drawn in the background. The chart in the foreground could prevent you from clicking the buttons. Also be sure to have \"Auto Trading\" to on.

The tool does not prevent you from losing money! Just be careful, the quick clicks might lead you to overtrading.
