Analysts are wary of TXT stock due to some inefficiencies in its fundamentals. The company’s large revenue base is the primary reason for its slow sales growth, showcased by a below-average annual revenue growth of 4.2% over the last five years. Additionally, its projected sales growth for the next year is 3.8%, also indicating sluggish demand for the next year. TXT’s free cash flow margin also dropped by 3.6% over the last five years, hinting at a more capital-intensive company, while its competition has surpassed it.

Analysts’ consensus opinion on the stock is moderately bullish, with a “Moderate Buy” rating overall. Of the 16 analysts covering the stock, six recommend a “Strong Buy,” and 10 rate it a “Hold.” TXT’s average analyst price target is $100.93, indicating an upside of 32.5% from the current levels.
