AT&T Inc. T has extended its long-standing partnership with the Dallas Cowboys, continuing to provide the network infrastructure and technology that power fan experiences at AT&T Stadium. The agreement adds new connectivity, artificial intelligence (AI) and immersive technologies for the 2026 National Football League season.
AT&T is rolling out several upgrades to make game-day experiences more connected and interactive. Its network infrastructure includes more than 261 miles of fiber and nearly 1,000 antennas, supporting stadium operations and connectivity demands for fans and staff. New features include AT&T Stadium Wayfinding, which provides no-download navigation from parking areas to individual seats through the Cowboys app and stadium kiosks.
The company is expanding augmented and mixed-reality experiences, including Pose with the Pros and Reception Connection. Connected Cam streams live fan video to the stadium’s main videoboard, and the Starbase Connection Feature uses AI to convert fan-submitted photos into customized Cowboys-themed hype videos displayed across stadium screens.
Additionally, AT&T Turbo Live provides reserved, high-priority network access to fans, including customers of other wireless carriers, enabling them to stream, post and share content during games. The agreement also keeps AT&T’s name on the venue and reinforces its role in supporting the technology and connectivity behind the evolving sports and entertainment experience.
How Are Competitors Advancing in Technology Upgrades?
AT&T faces stiff competition from Verizon Communications, Inc. VZ and T-Mobile US, Inc. TMUS. Verizon has been upgrading its network and technology infrastructure to support growing demand for AI and advanced connectivity. The company introduced Verizon AI Connect, which combines high-speed fiber, programmable network resources and security to support enterprise AI workloads. Verizon is also developing more autonomous network operations, using AI and automation to optimize traffic and improve network performance.
T-Mobile is strengthening its network technology by focusing on 5G Advanced, AI and automation. The company is using AI-powered tools to optimize network performance and improve connectivity during high-demand events. T-Mobile is advancing AI-RAN and next-generation 6G technologies to make its network more intelligent, efficient and capable of supporting emerging applications.
