Jabil Stock: Is Wall Street Bullish or Bearish?

With a market cap of $33.8 billion, Jabil Inc. (JBL) is a global provider of electronic manufacturing services and solutions. Operating through its Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) and Diversified Manufacturing Services (DMS) segments, it offers comprehensive design, production, supply chain, and product management services across industries such as automotive, healthcare, cloud, mobility, and industrial.

Shares of the Saint Petersburg, Florida-based company have surpassed the broader market over the past 52 weeks. JBL stock has surged 58.6% over this time frame, while the broader S&P 500 Index ($SPX) has gained 20.1%. Moreover, shares of the company have increased 41.9% on a YTD basis, compared to SPX's 12.2% rise.

Looking closer, shares of the electronics firm have also outperformed the State Street Technology Select Sector SPDR ETF's (XLKreturn of 41.5% over the past 52 weeks and a 27.7% YTD gain.

Jabil reported stronger-than-expected Q3 2026 adjusted EPS of $3.16 and revenue of $8.75 billion on Jun. 17. It also raised its fiscal 2026 adjusted EPS forecast to $12.70 and revenue guidance to $35 billion, both above analyst expectations. The upgrade was driven by strong AI data-center demand, with Jabil increasing its 2026 AI-related revenue forecast to $13.6 billion, while the management said AI infrastructure demand remained “extremely strong” and automotive and connected-living performance was better than expected. The company also announced a new partnership with Adani to manufacture liquid-cooled AI racks, servers, and storage systems in India.

For the fiscal year ending in August 2026, analysts expect Jabil's EPS to grow 31.7% year-over-year to $11.71. The company's earnings surprise history is mixed. It beat the consensus estimates in three of the last four quarters while missing on another occasion.

Among the 11 analysts covering the stock, the consensus rating is a “Strong Buy.” That’s based on 10 “Strong Buys” and one “Hold.”

This configuration is slightly more bullish than three months ago, with nine “Strong Buy” ratings on the stock.

On Jun. 18, Barclays raised its price target for Jabil to $426 and maintained an “Overweight” rating.

The mean price target of $451.18 represents a 40.3% premium to JBL’s current price levels. The Street-high price target of $482 suggests a 49.9% potential upside.
