Analysts Are Feeling Bullish on CoreWeave Stock. Here's Why.

CoreWeave (CRWV) stock has been a muted investment since the start of 2026, but William Blair believes the story could change rather significantly in the final quarter of this year. Analysts at the firm initiated coverage on the artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure firm with an “Outperform” rating on Wednesday, helping its share price tick higher.

Versus their year-to-date high, CoreWeave shares are down more than 35% at the time of writing.

William Blair’s Bullish View on CoreWeave Stock

William Blair’s bullish initiation hinges heavily on CoreWeave’s status as a pioneer in the rapidly expanding neocloud ecosystem.

As hyperscale demand for high-performance AI infrastructure intensifies, the company’s massive data center footprint and secured power capacity position it to resolve key operational bottlenecks facing global artificial intelligence buildouts.

Crucially, CoreWeave boasts priority access to Nvidia’s (NVDA) advanced chips, giving it an operational head start in running multi-thousand GPU clusters for premier enterprise clients such as Microsoft (MSFT), OpenAI, Meta (META), and Anthropic.

CRWV stock broke above its 20-day and 50-day moving averages (MAs) this morning, indicating the upward momentum could sustain in the near term.

AI Tailwinds to Drive CRWV Shares Higher

William Blair took a bullish stance on CoreWeave stock mostly because of its massive contracted revenue backlog.

Analysts expect the Nasdaq-listed firm to notably benefit as newly deployed artificial intelligence compute capacity transitions into live, revenue-generating operations in late 2026.

The firm sees accelerating capacity utilization as the key driver to reignite valuation growth, with CRWV’s strategic expansion into higher-layer software platforms and managed AI services expected to unlock high-margin revenue streams.

On Wednesday, Truist analysts also maintained a “Buy” rating on CoreWeave, with a $165 price target indicating potential upside of about 90% over the next 12 months.

What’s the Consensus Rating on CoreWeave?

Other Wall Street firms also remain bullish on CRWV shares for the remainder of 2026.

According to Barchart, the consensus rating on CoreWeave sits at “Moderate Buy,” with the mean price target of about $136 indicating potential for a significant rally from current levels.
