Corning Incorporated's Q3 2026 Earnings: What to Expect

Corning, New York-based Corning Incorporated (GLW) operates in optical communications, display, specialty materials, automotive, and life sciences businesses in the United States and internationally. Valued at a market cap of $140.6 billion, the company’s offerings include optical fibers and cables, cable assemblies, fiber optic hardware and connectors, optical components and couplers, closures, network interface devices, and other accessories for the telecommunications industry.

GLW is expected to release its Q3 2026 earnings on Tuesday, October 27, before the market opens. Ahead of the event, analysts expect the company’s EPS to be $0.88 on a diluted basis, up 31.3% from $0.67 in the year-ago quarter. The company has met or exceeded Wall Street’s EPS estimates in each of its last four quarters.

For fiscal 2026, analysts project the company’s EPS to be $3.28, up 30.2% from $2.52 in fiscal 2025. Moreover, its EPS is expected to rise by roughly 30.8% year over year (YoY) to $4.29 in fiscal 2027.

GLW stock has surged 82.5% over the past 52 weeks, outperforming the S&P 500 Index’s ($SPX) 16.2% rise and the State Street Technology Select Sector SPDR ETF’s (XLK) 37.4% rise during the same time frame.

GLW has been an analyst favorite due to its solid market-beating fundamentals. The company’s annual revenue growth over the last two years has been 14.3%, above the market average and showcasing growing market share. Moreover, its earnings have grown at a CAGR of 30.3% over the last two years, above its industry peers. Additionally, GLW’s free cash flow margin grew by 5.9% over the past five years, hinting at more capital to invest in or return to shareholders, making it more lucrative. 

Analysts are somewhat bullish about GLW, with the stock having a “Moderate Buy” rating overall. Among the 16 analysts covering the stock, 10 recommend a “Strong Buy,” and six recommend a “Hold.” GLW’s average analyst price target of $185.94 offers a 17.1% upside potential.
