Intel Corporation INTC has extended its Core Ultra platform to new Googlebook laptops from Alphabet Inc. GOOGL powered by Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors. Developed with Google, the new laptops are being brought to market by PC makers Acer, ASUS and Lenovo, combining Intel processing and connectivity technologies with Google’s computing experience.
Intel’s latest processors deliver responsive performance and power efficiency for modern computing. Built on its advanced 18A process technology, the Core Ultra Series 3 integrates CPU, GPU and NPU architectures to support demanding workloads and artificial intelligence (AI)-enabled experiences. The platform is designed to help users multitask across applications while maintaining efficient power consumption for longer battery life.
The company also brings enhanced connectivity features to the new Googlebook laptops, including Intel Wi-Fi 7, Dual Intel Bluetooth 6.0 and Intel Thunderbolt. These technologies deliver fast and reliable connections across different environments while supporting seamless device experiences.
Building on more than a decade of collaboration between Intel and Google, the launch introduces premium laptops with modern designs, vibrant displays and next-generation features. The initiative supports Intel’s efforts to deliver high-performance, efficient and AI-capable technologies across a broader range of devices.
How Are Competitors Performing in the PC Market?
Intel faces competition from Qualcomm Incorporated QCOM and Advanced Micro Devices AMD. Qualcomm is strengthening its presence in the PC market with its Snapdragon X2 processors, which offer AI capabilities, performance and power efficiency. The company launched the Snapdragon C platform for affordable laptops targeting students, families and small businesses. Qualcomm is further expanding its PC portfolio through laptops from major PC manufacturers such as ASUS, HP, Lenovo and Acer.
AMD is advancing in the PC market with Ryzen AI processors, which combine strong computing performance with built-in AI capabilities. The company offers Ryzen AI chips across consumer and business PCs, including laptops, desktops and workstations. AMD is working with major PC manufacturers to expand the availability of its Ryzen-powered AI PCs.

Shares of Intel have skyrocketed 323.4% over the past year compared with the industry’s growth of 31.7%.
