(b) Check if beta is positive or negative and the pair correlation.
If beta is positive check if the correlation is positive (Fisher test always greater than zero, Min > 0%).
If beta is negative check if the correlation is negative (Fisher test always lesser than zero, Max < 0%).

For positive beta and Fisher always greater than zero, Long&Short situation:

When the residual line (blue) reaches the upper band sell the main asset and buy the secondary asset (expecting a reversal to normality).

When the residual line (blue) reaches the bottom band buy the main asset and sell the secondary asset (expecting a reversal to normality).

For negative beta and Fisher always lesser than zero, Long&Long or Short&Short situation:

When the residual line (blue) reaches the upper band sell the main asset and sell the secondary asset (expecting a reversal to normality).

The lot size proportion is given by beta. To know secondary asset lot size just multiply primary asset lot by beta.
Ex: For beta 0.5 and primary lot = 10 secondary lot size would be 5.

TrendScore Indicator was devised by Tushar S. Chande and he explained all about its use at his article in Stocks & Commodities: “Rating Trend Strength”.

TrendScore Indicator can be traded in many ways. The approach we choose depends on our trading style:

You can use the zero crossing as an early signal and then buy when the trendscore becomes positive or equal to +10 and sell when it becomes negative or equal to –10.
Also as a filter you can wait one to three bars after the TrendScore reaches +10 or -10 before buying (+ 10) or selling (-10).
Or you can combine the trendscore with a moving average, trading an upward or downward crossover.
Another variation would be to go long after the trendscore crosses from -10 to above +5 and go short after the trendscore falls from +10 to below 5.

You could also combine TrendScore with other indicators of trend strength. For example, if you combine it with the ADX indicator Trendscore would provide an indication of direction, while the ADX can provide additional information about the trend's strength. You could also for example use H1 data to calculate a trend's score and make trades based on a lower timeframe like M15,M5 or M1 etc.

En cliquant à l'intérieur d'un rectangle, un nouveau graphique sera ouvert avec le symbole et la période en question.
L'indicateur peut écrire les signaux dans des variables globales qui peuvent être utilisées par un Expert Advisor pour le trading automatique. Par exemple ce produit .

Il suffit de placer l'indicateur sur un graphique et vous recevrez une alerte de n'importe quel symbole de votre choix.

Les divergences régulières/classiques (inversion de tendance) et cachées (poursuite de la tendance) seront prises en considération. Il pourrait donc y avoir une divergence régulière et en même temps une divergence cachée sur une autre période. Veuillez voir la capture d'écran n°3 ci-dessous. L'exemple montre des divergences par rapport à 2 indicateurs mais il peut également s'agir d'un seul et même indicateur. Il est cependant possible de définir si l'on n'utilise que des divergences régulières ou uniquement cachées en modifiant un paramètre.

I use 15 sma or 21 sma on every time frame but you can use/select what you want in input window.

Qu'est-ce que l'ADX ?

L'Average Directional Movement Index (ADX), développé par J. Welles Wilder, est un indicateur technique utilisé pour mesurer la force d'une tendance, quelle que soit sa direction. Motivation and functioning

The HolyGrail indicator serves to optimize an entry.

At that very moment I caught myself, that I went short in an uptrend, so I got into a trade in an anti-cyclical way. Or I have entered into a much too mature trend. Motivation

\r\n

Did not find free VWAP that works, the one that I found craseh. So I created a VWAP which calculates values only for the actual day. So computer resouces are not over stressed.

What is VWAP, how is it used?

\r\n

VWAP stands for Volume Weighed Average Price, it calculates the running sum of tick volume and the runnung sum of price times tickvolume. The division of these sums result in a weighed price (Sum P*V/Sum V). The calculation starts normally at midnight. The values are strongly dependent from the starting time. Be careful if you have assets not starting at midnight. Also the calculation gets more and more unprecise during the day because the sums get bigger and bigger during the day and errors add.

\r\n

VWAP is a sort of equilibrium price. It might divide the day in a long and short bias zone. I recommend to use Pivot Points, SMA200 and EMA1000 in addition to establish a daily bias dividing line. So if you have your long and short zone only trade long in the long zone and vice versa. You might go short in a long zone but the price must have a reasonable distance from the daily bias border line or the VWAP.

\r\n

VWAP shows you, too, if you are in a sideways phase if price is near VWAP (and SMA200, SMA1000, Pivot Point).

Inside bars are completely engulfed by its previous bar. The pattern is also known as \"harami\" (pregnant). Outsidebars engulf the previous bar.

Inside bars might mark situations before an outbreak. They are a condensed form of a symmetrical triangle. Symmetrical triangles represent a battle between bulls and bears. There can be an outbreak to either side, mostly the outbreak is in direction of the main trend.

The combination of inside bar followed by an outside bar build the so called \"popgun\" pattern. Popgun Patterns are mostly followed by an outbreak on either side of the outside bar (see image 4). In many cases the outside bar might preceded by an incomplete inside bar, which is not marked. Therefore outside bars alone might also be an indicator of a sudden outbreak.
