Notes

The dashboard displays four signals in four colors. Light blue and light red for price entering the oversold or overbought zone, deep blue, and deep red are for Stochastic exiting the oversold or overbought zone.
If you want to monitor more than 28 instruments you can load the indicator on another chart with different \"Unique ID\" in the settings and set different symbols for it.
The symbols that you want to add to the dashboard must be visible in the MetaTrader market watch window. The first time you run the indicator or load a new symbol in the dashboard it might take a few seconds to update its data and show signals.

🔶 SETTINGS

(Check CONCEPTS for deeper insights and explanation)

🔹 Swing settings (left): Sets the length, which will set the lookback period/sensitivity of the Zigzag patterns (which directs the trend)
🔹 Silver Bullet Session; Show SB session: show lines and labels of SB session
     Labels can be disabled separately in the 'Style' section, color is set at the 'Inputs' section.
🔹 FVG
     – Mode
      • All FVG
      • Only FVG's in the same direction of trend
      • Strict
      • Super-Strict
     – Colors
     – Extend: extend till last bar of SB session

🔹 Targets – support/resistance lines
     – Previous session (any): S/R lines fetched between current and previous SB session
     – Previous session (similar): S/R lines fetched between current and previous similar SB session
     – Colors
     – Keep lines (only in strict mode)

🔹 Show
     – MSS ~ Session: Show Market Structure Shift, only when this happens during a SB session
     – Trend: Show trend (Zigzag, colored ~ trend)

🔶 CONCEPTS

This technique can visualize potential support/resistance lines, which can be used as targets.

The script contains 2 main components:
• forming of a Fair Value Gap (FVG)
• drawing support/resistance (S/R) lines

🔹 Forming of FVG

1 basic principle: when a FVG at the end of the SB session is not retraced, it will be made invisible. (image 2)

Dependable on the settings, different FVG's will be shown.

• 'All FVG': all FVG's are shown, regardless the trend (image 3)

• 'Only FVG's in the same direction of trend': Only FVG's are shown that are similar to the trend at that moment (trend can be visualized by enabling 'Show' -> 'Trend')
-> only bearish FVG when the trend is bearish vs. bullish FVG when trend is bullish (image 4)

• 'strict': Besides being similar to the trend, only FVG's are shown when the closing price at the end of the SB session is (image 5):
– below the top of the FVG box (bearish FVG)
– above bottom of the FVG box (bullish FVG)

• 'super-strict': Besides being similar to the trend, only FVG's are shown when the FVG box is NOT broken in the opposite direction AND the closing price at the end of the SB session is (image 6):
– below bottom of the FVG box (bearish FVG)
– above the top of the FVG box (bullish FVG)

'Super-Strict' mode resembles ICT lectures the most.

🔹 Drawing support/resistance lines

When the SB session has ended, the script draws potential support/resistance lines, again, dependable on the settings.

• Previous session (any): S/R lines are fetched between current and previous session. (image 7)
For example, when current session is 'AM SB Session (10 AM — 11 AM)', then previous session is
'London Open SB (3 AM — 4 AM)', S/R lines between these 2 sessions alone will be included.

• Previous session (similar): S/R lines are fetched between current and previous - similar - session. (image 8)
For example, when current session is 'London Open SB (3 AM — 4 AM)', only S/R lines between
current session and previous 'London Open SB (3 AM — 4 AM)' session are included.

When a new session starts, S/R lines will be removed, except when enabling 'Keep lines (only in strict mode)' (image 9)
This is not possible in 'All FVG' or 'Only FVG's in the same direction of trend' mode, since the chart would be cluttered.
Note that in 'All FVG' or 'Only FVG's in the same direction of trend' mode, both, Support/Resistance lines will be shown,
while in Strict/Super-Strict mode:
• only Support lines will be shown if a bearish FVG appears
• only Resistance lines if a bullish FVG is shown

The lines will still be drawn the the end of the SB session, when a valid FVG appears,
but the S/R lines will remain visible and keep being updated until price reaches that line. (image 10)

🔶 USAGE (image 11, 12)

The ICT Silver Bullet indicator aims to provide users a comprehensive display as similar as possible to how anyone would manually draw the concept on their charts.

It's important to use anything below the 15-minute timeframe to ensure proper setups can display. In this section, we are purely using the 3-minute timeframe.

In the image below, we can see a bullish setup whereas a FVG was successfully retested during the Silver Bullet session. This was then followed by a move upwards to liquidity as our target.

Main

Pressing 'r' on the keyboard will add a properly named rectangle object automatically.
StartFromDate (default = __DATE__) — if StartFromCurrentSession is false, then the indicator will start drawing profiles from this date. It draws to the past. For example, if you set it 2018-01-20 and SessionsToCount is 2, then it will draw the profiles for 2018-01-20 and 2018-01-19.
StartFromCurrentSession (default = true) — if true, then the indicator starts drawing from today, else — from the date given in StartFromDate.
SessionsToCount (default = 2) — for how many trading sessions to draw the market profiles.
SeamlessScrollingMode (default = false) — if true, the StartFromDate and StartFromCurrentSession parameters are ignored; the sessions are calculated and displayed starting from the current chart position's rightmost bar. This allows scrolling back in time indefinitely to view past sessions.
EnableDevelopingPOC (default = false) — if true, multiple horizontal lines will be drawn to depict how the Point of Control developed through the session.
ValueAreaPercentage (default = 70) — a percentage share of the session's TPOs to include in the Value Area.

Looks and colors

ColorScheme (default = Blue to Red) — color scheme for profile's blocks:
- blue to red
- red to green
- green to blue
- yellow to cyan
- magenta to yellow
- cyan to magenta
SingleColor (default = clrBlue) — if ColorScheme is set to Single Color, this color will be used to draw market profiles.
ColorBullBear (default = false) — if true, the color of the profile blocks depends not on the age of the origin bar but on its direction.
MedianColor (default = clrWhite) — the color of the control value (median).
ValueAreaSidesColor (default = clrWhite) — the color of the value area side borders.
ValueAreaHighLowColor (default = clrWhite) — the color of the value area top and bottom borders.
MedianStyle (default = STYLE_SOLID) — the Point of Control (median) line style.
MedianRayStyle (default = STYLE_DASH) — the Point of Control (median) ray line style.
ValueAreaSidesStyle (default = STYLE_SOLID) — the style of the value area side borders.
ValueAreaHighLowStyle (default = STYLE_SOLID) — the style of the value area top and bottom borders.
ValueAreaRayHighLowStyle (default = STYLE_DOT) — the style of the value area top and bottom rays.
MedianWidth (default = 1) — the Point of Control (median) line width.
MedianRayWidth (default = 1) — the Point of Control (median) ray line width.
ValueAreaSidesWidth (default = 1) — the width of the value area side borders.
ValueAreaHighLowWidth (default = 1) — the width of the value area top and bottom borders.

ShowValueAreaRays (default = None) — can be set so that the value area's High and Low price levels are projected to the right side of the chart. Can be set to previous session, current, previous and current, all previous, or all.
ShowMedianRays (default = None) — can be set so that the median is projected to the right side of the chart. Can be set to previous session, current, previous and current, all previous, or all.
RaysUntilIntersection (default = Stop_No_Rays) — defines the way median and value area rays will be cut off when they meet the next trading session's price range:
- Stop_No_Rays — no rays are stopped anywhere.
- Stop_All_Rays — all rays are stopped at an intersection with the price of another session.
- Stop_All_Rays_Except_Prev_Session — all rays except the previous session's rays are stopped at an intersection with the price of another session.
- Stop_Only_Previous_Session — only rays of the previous session are stopped at an intersection with the price of another session.
HideRaysFromInvisibleSessions (default = false) — if true, rays from sessions starting behind the left edge of the screen won't be displayed until you scroll back to them.
TimeShiftMinutes (default = 0) — time shift for the sessions, in minutes. Positive value will move the session start to the left; negative — to the right.
ShowKeyValues (default = true) — if true, Value Area High, Value Area Low, and Point of Control are displayed on the left of the market profile.
KeyValuesColor (default = clrWhite) — the color for Value Area High, Value Area Low, and Point of Control printout.
KeyValuesSize (default = 8) — the font size for Value Area High, Value Area Low, and Point of Control printout.
ShowSinglePrint (default = No) — can be set to Leftside or Rightside and will mark the single print profile — a part of the profile, which is only one TPO wide.
SinglePrintRays (default = false) — if true, single print edges are marked with rays.
SinglePrintColor (default = clrGold) — the color for single print marking if ShowSinglePrint isn't set to No.
SinglePrintRayStyle (default = STYLE_SOLID) — the single print ray line style.
SinglePrintRayWidth (default = 1) — the single print ray line width.
ProminentMedianColor (default = clrYellow) — the color for the prominent median (PPOC) if ProminentMedianPercentage is set to 100 or less.
ProminentMedianStyle (default = STYLE_SOLID) — the style for the prominent median (PPOC) if ProminentMedianPercentage is set to 100 or less.
ProminentMedianWidth (default = 4) — the width for the prominent median (PPOC) if ProminentMedianPercentage is set to 100 or less.
RightToLeft (default = false) — if true, the current session's market profile has its histogram drawn from right to left. In case Session is set to Rectangle, market profiles of all sessions are drawn right-to-left.

Performance

PointMultiplier (default = 0) — the higher it is, the wider are the profile's price boxes and the fewer are the chart objects. You can use it to reduce the indicator's load on CPU. When the value is zero, an adaptive multiplier is used — the indicator attempts to calculate the optimal value automatically.
ThrottleRedraw (default = 0) — a delay in seconds that will be applied before each redraw of the profiles. You can use it to reduce the indicator's load on CPU.
DisableHistogram (default = false) — if true, no market profile histogram is drawn, but Value Area and Median are still marked. This makes indicator work extremely fast, but is less useful for thorough market analysis.

Alerts

AlertNative (default = false) — if true, the indicator will issue the platform's native pop-up alert when some alert conditions are met.
AlertEmail (default = false) — if true, MetaTrader's email alerts will be sent when some alert conditions are met. Email should be properly configured in MetaTrader via Tools->Options->Email
AlertPush (default = false) — if true, MetaTrader's push notification alerts will be sent to your mobile device when some alert conditions are met. Notifications should be properly configured in MetaTrader via Tools->Options->Notifications. This alert type is not available in the cTrader version of the indicator.
AlertArrows (default = false) — if true, MetaTrader will draw arrows on the chart when some alert conditions are met.
AlertCheckBar (default = Previous) — controls the bar to check the alert conditions on. Current — the indicator will check the current unfinished bar; expect a lot of alerts. Previous — the indicator will check the previous (closed) bar; alerts will be delayed but more concise.
AlertForValueArea (default = false) — if true, alerts will be issued whenever a Value Area ray (high or low) is crossed by the price.
AlertForMedian (default = false) — if true, alerts will be issued whenever a Median ray is crossed by the price.

Pivot Lookback : Lookback period used for the calculation of pivot points.
Swing Area : Determine how the swing area is calculated, \"Wick Extremity\" will use the range from price high to the maximum between price close/open in case of a swing high, and the range from price low to the minimum between price close/open in case of a swing low. \"Full Range\" will use the full candle range as swing area.
Intrabar Precision : Use intrabar data to calculate the accumulated volume within a swing area, this allows obtaining more precise results.
Filter Areas By : Determine how swing areas are filtered out, \"Count\" will filter out swing areas where price visited the area a number of time inferior to the user set threshold. \"Volume\" will filter out swing areas where the accumulated volume within the area is inferior to the user set threshold.

Order Block Confirmation Bars: Define the number of bars for order block confirmation. A higher value enhances the strength of the identified order block.
Display OB from Current Timeframe: When enabled, it displays order blocks from the current chart timeframe.

What Exactly is an Order Block?

An order block is a specific area on a price chart where significant buying or selling activity has occurred. It's often identified by a cluster of price bars that indicate a concentration of trading orders executed at a particular price level. These order blocks are thought to represent areas of strong supply and demand imbalances in the market.

An order block is considered significant because it suggests that a large number of traders placed their buy or sell orders at that level, which can influence future price movements. Traders often use order block analysis to anticipate potential price reversals, breakouts, or trends, as these levels can act as support or resistance zones.

Bullish Order Block

A Bullish order block is an area where considerable number of traders decided to buy, creating a surge in demand. This can indicate a strong belief that the price will rise from that point onward.

Think of it as a gathering of enthusiastic buyers who believe that the price is about to increase. This gathering leaves a mark(or say block) on the chart, suggesting that this area could act as a support zone, where buyers might step in again if the price dips back to that level.

We can see in the image above that the trailing stop and its adaptive moving average can also act as support & resistance. Using higher values of the performance memory setting allows users to obtain a longer-term adaptive moving average of the returned trailing stop.

🔶 DETAILS

🔹 K-Means Clustering (image 4)

When observing data points within a specific space, we can sometimes observe that some are closer to each other, forming groups, or \"Clusters\". At first sight, identifying those clusters and finding their associated data points can seem easy but doing so mathematically can be more challenging. This is where cluster analysis comes into play, where we seek to group data points into various clusters such that data points within one cluster are closer to each other. This is a common branch of AI/machine learning.

Various methods exist to find clusters within data, with the one used in this script being K-Means Clustering, a simple iterative unsupervised clustering method that finds a user-set amount of clusters.

A naive form of the K-Means algorithm would perform the following steps in order to find K clusters:

(1) Determine the amount (K) of clusters to detect.
(2) Initiate our K centroids (cluster centers) with random values.
(3) Loop over the data points, and determine which is the closest centroid from each data point, then associate that data point with the centroid.
(4) Update centroids by taking the average of the data points associated with a specific centroid.
Repeat steps 3 to 4 until convergence, that is until the centroids no longer change.

To explain how K-Means works graphically let's take the example of a one-dimensional dataset (which is the dimension used in our script) with two apparent clusters: (image 5)

This is of course a simple scenario, as K will generally be higher, as well the amount of data points. Do note that this method can be very sensitive to the initialization of the centroids, this is why it is generally run multiple times, keeping the run returning the best centroids.

🔹 Adaptive SuperTrend Factor Using K-Means

The proposed indicator rationale is based on the following hypothesis:

Given multiple instances of an indicator using different settings, the optimal setting choice at time t is given by the best-performing instance with setting s(t).

Performing the calculation of the indicator using the best setting at time t would return an indicator whose characteristics adapt based on its performance. However, what if the setting of the best-performing instance and second best-performing instance of the indicator have a high degree of disparity without a high difference in performance?

Even though this specific case is rare its however not uncommon to see that performance can be similar for a group of specific settings (this could be observed in a parameter optimization heatmap), then filtering out desirable settings to only use the best-performing one can seem too strict. We can as such reformulate our first hypothesis:

Given multiple instances of an indicator using different settings, an optimal setting choice at time t is given by the average of the best-performing instances with settings s(t).

Finding this group of best-performing instances could be done using the previously described K-Means clustering method, assuming three groups of interest (K = 3) defined as worst performing, average performing, and best performing.

We first obtain an analog of performance P(t, factor) described as:

P(t, factor) = P(t-1, factor) + α * (∆C(t) × S(t-1, factor) - P(t-1, factor))

where 1 > α > 0, which is the performance memory determining the degree to which older inputs affect the current output. C(t) is the closing price, and S(t, factor) is the SuperTrend signal generating function with multiplicative factor factor.

We run this performance function for multiple factor settings and perform K-Means clustering on the multiple obtained performances to obtain the best-performing cluster. We initiate our centroids using quartiles of the obtained performances for faster centroids convergence. (image 6)

The average of the factors associated with the best-performing cluster is then used to obtain the final factor setting, which is used to compute the final SuperTrend output.

Do note that we give the liberty for the user to get the final factor from the best, average, or worst cluster for experimental purposes.

🔶 SETTINGS

ATR Length: ATR period used for the calculation of the SuperTrends.
Factor Range: Determine the minimum and maximum factor values for the calculation of the SuperTrends.
Step: Increments of the factor range.
Performance Memory: Determine the degree to which older inputs affect the current output, with higher values returning longer-term performance measurements.
From Cluster: Determine which cluster is used to obtain the final factor.

🔹 Optimization

This group of settings affects the runtime performances of the script.

Maximum Iteration Steps: Maximum number of iterations allowed for finding centroids. Excessively low values can return a better script load time but poor clustering.
Historical Bars Calculation (lookback): Calculation window of the script (in bars). Higher than 500 may cause slow performance. Tested at 300 for best result.

This trading strategy is a decent reversal strategy with relatively accurate reversal signals compared to most trend reversal trading signals. Harmonic Pattern

Harmonic patterns are used in technical analysis that traders use to find trend reversals. In this version, there are two lines of OTT which are derived from HIGHEST price values (HOTT) and LOVEST price values (LOTT) which were originally sourced to CLOSE values on default OTT.

Another significant difference is there is no Support Line (Moving Average) in this version.

The area between HOTT and LOTT is FLAT ZONE which developer advises to do nothing.

Bars will be highlighted to Turquoise when candles close over HOTT, means an UPTREND SIGNAL
and to Fuchia when candles begin closing under LOTT line to indicate a DOWNTREND SIGNAL.

FLAT ZONE is highlighted also to have the maximum concentration on sideways market conditions.

There are three quantitative parameters in this indicator:
The first parameter in the OTT indicator set by the two parameters is the period/length.
OTT lines will be much sensitive to trend movements if it is smaller.
And vice versa, will be less sensitive when it is longer.
As the period increases it will become less sensitive to little trends and price actions.
In this way, your choice of period, will be closely related to which of the sort of trends you are interested in.

The OTT percent parameter in OTT is an optimization coefficient. Just like in the period
small values are better at capturing short term fluctuations, while large values
will be more suitable for long-term trends.

The final adjustable quantitative parameter is HIGHEST and LOWEST length which is the source of calculations.

Anıl Özekşi generally works on 1 minute charts so I personally advise traders to optimize parameters to have more accurate signals. Just concentrate on FLAT price zones and indicator will do the rest in trends.
