How to properly test the Big Forex Players in the MetaTrader 5 tester?
Please select a deposit of $1,000, set a custom date, choose \"Every tick\" as the modeling mode, set the risk percentage 5-10%, and select a leverage of 1:100-1:500. Then, choose the risk mode (Low, Medium, or High), select the XAUUSD or EURUSD pair, and click the Start button in the MetaTrader 5 strategy tester. If you choose a lower leverage, the results may be slightly less favorable. Higher leverage could produce better results.

How do I start:

C'est une bonne idée d'exécuter tous ces signaux ensemble, dans un test backtest/forward, puis d'optimiser. Ou revisitez puis optimisez.

Exemple, lorsque vous exécutez les trois (3) signaux d'entrée ensemble et que vous êtes à l'aise avec un résultat qui montre 2 sur 3 « vrai ». Enregistrez-les dans un fichier « set ». Optimisez ensuite les paramètres de ce signal dans sa section. Vous pourriez être surpris de la variation des résultats que cela peut avoir en fonction de la taille du compte, du courtier, de la période de l'année, etc., mais c'est là que réside votre avantage.

Il existe 3 délais opérationnels.

1. Délai plus long pour la tendance - (2H à 1D)

2. Délai de signal pour les déclencheurs d'achat et de vente (1H, 30M recommandés)

3. Délai d'entrée, 30 minutes et moins recommandé.

Les sections de signal indiqueront la période principale et la période d'entrée si nécessaire.

Délai d'action sur les prix pour les signaux 1 et 2 (CECI EST VOTRE DÉLAIS PRINCIPAL - Cela peut changer en fonction de vos préférences en matière de tests)

Section de gestion commerciale

Inp_RISK_LVL - Niveau de risque par transaction, réparti entre deux positions.

MaxNumberOfTrades - Nombre maximum de transactions à effectuer

TotalNumberOfOpenPositions - Nombre maximum de positions ouvertes, les courtiers en ont parfois un maximum de 100.

DrawDown_TF -- Le tirage au sort est réinitialisé une fois ce délai écoulé,

DD_PERCENTAGE – Pourcentage de réduction au cours de la période ci-dessus. Vous pouvez dire : arrêtez de trader si mon tirage atteint 5 % et continuez à trader sur la prochaine bougie quotidienne.

Section des opérations diverses

BarProcessingMethod - Trois options pour traiter cette EA, à chaque tick, sur une barre d'une minute ouverte ou sur la période actuelle ouverte (période signal1 et 2)

InpHOURS_BWT_TRADES -- Prenez un délai d'attente pour ouvrir davantage de transactions après une sortie rentable. Utile pendant les périodes de consolidation après un grand déménagement.

InpHours_btw_Open_trades - Temps entre l'ouverture des transactions. Cela aide toujours à réduire les pertes, mais vous souhaiterez peut-être ouvrir davantage de transactions.

MAIN_TF_n -- Période de détermination des tendances les jours d'information

Inp_PENTRY_TF_n -- Période pour les signaux d'achat/vente

Inp_before_News_break -- Pas de trading pour cette période précédant l'actualité (chevauchement avec ci-dessus). Par exemple, avant les grands événements d'actualité, le marché ne bouge pas beaucoup, il attend de voir. 3 à 8 heures recommandées.

Ce sont des paramètres qui affecteront grandement vos résultats les jours d’actualité du dossier rouge (à fort impact). Cela fait une grande différence au fil du temps.

Notes importantes pour le backesting :

Essayez de ne pas sélectionner plus de 3/4 paramètres à la fois. Faites-le progressivement afin de pouvoir prendre une meilleure décision.

Utilisez un test Forward pour obtenir un ensemble potentiel, peut-être un 1/3 ou 1/4, et sélectionnez les paramètres qui fonctionneront bien avec les nouvelles données au cours de cette période forward.

Vous devez également exécuter votre ensemble sélectionné sur les marchés en direct en démo aussi longtemps que vous devez être à l'aise avec celui-ci. 1 à 6 mois, certains diront un an.

TRÈS IMPORTANT AVANT LE BACKTESTING

Avant de faire un back-test pour la première fois, vous devez attacher Yahweh à un graphique en direct pendant au moins 1 min 30 secondes. Vous pouvez également télécharger manuellement le fichier historique des événements à partir des liens publiés dans la section des commentaires. Cela permettra à l'EA de télécharger les données d'actualités importantes pour son fonctionnement. Vous ne devriez avoir besoin de le faire qu’une seule fois pour les tests.

Yahweh est un outil commercial très puissant, mais il est important de se rappeler qu’il ne s’agit pas d’une solution miracle. Aucun robot commercial ne peut garantir des profits, et Yahweh ne fait pas exception.

Two effective filtering and risk adjustment mechanisms are built into the EA:

1. Relative volume (RVOL) adjustment:

- If RVOL is higher than normal then lower risk will be used and if RVOL is very low then higher risk will be used for the trade

- If RVOL is extremely high the trade is skipped as there is increased risk that the large move was caused by a large event and it can continue as volume is still elevated

2.Auto Trend Filter and Loss Exit:

This is a strong trend filter which triggers if EA is in the trade sequence and there is continuous strong trend against the trade sequence. EA can stop averaging for a while and then take all skipped averaging trades when the strong move clearly slows down. If that happens EA will also exit the trade on the first sign of strength. This can lead to a close at the loss but also makes sure pullback in the trend is used to get out at somewhat advantageous moment. This feature can be configured with parameter \"Auto Trend Filter and Loss Exit Basket Size\" which sets the basket size where this mechanism will activate.

With default symbol settings:

Low risk = 0.5

Medium risk = 1.0 (Default)

High risk = 1.5

Extreme risk = 2.0

New Baskets allowed on Friday

Defines if new baskets can be started on Friday evening. Default is FALSE as this reduces over weekend risk

Extra Trade at added levels

If set to TRUE the EA will make additional trade at each averaging level to capture small scalp trade in addition to the averaging procedure. Enabling this increases slightly profitability and risk.

Max Drawdown allowing new Baskets

No trades are opened on new symbols if current balance to equity drawdown is more than this

Max Trade Loss % (SL, 0=OFF)

SL setup for each individual trade. If set each individual trade has SL set

Max Basket Loss % (0=OFF)

Drawdown level of one symbol basket where that particular basket will be closed at loss

Max Account Loss % (0=OFF)

Drawdown level of all DailyRebound EA trades where all EAs trades will be closed at loss

Auto Trend Filter and Loss Exit Basket Size

Basket Size (number or trades in the sequence) after which EA can start skipping levels in strong trend and also exit at loss if there is strong pullback in the trend.

Trade only the chart symbol

If set to TRUE the EA trades only the Symbol of the Chart to which it is attached to.

When first time backtesting this should be set to TRUE, have all Symbols in the MarketWatch and select Optimization \"All symbols selected in MarketWatch\". Then each Symbol is traded independently and MT5 will download all required data for the Symbols. When this is done once setting shall be set back to FALSE and then whole portfolio will be traded.

This is workaround to an issue in MT5 strategy analyzer. MT5 is not able to download automatically data for all the additional symbols in case of multi-symbol EA. For live trading this is not a problem and you shall leave this always to FALSE.

This is also useful for analyzing performance and impact of individual Symbols to the Portfolio

Filtering swing areas by volume allows to only show significant swing areas with an higher degree of liquidity. These swing areas can be wider, highlighting higher volatility, or might have been visited by the price more frequently. (Image 3)

🔶 SETTINGS

Pivot Lookback : Lookback period used for the calculation of pivot points.
Swing Area : Determine how the swing area is calculated, \"Wick Extremity\" will use the range from price high to the maximum between price close/open in case of a swing high, and the range from price low to the minimum between price close/open in case of a swing low. \"Full Range\" will use the full candle range as swing area.
Intrabar Precision : Use intrabar data to calculate the accumulated volume within a swing area, this allows obtaining more precise results.
Filter Areas By : Determine how swing areas are filtered out, \"Count\" will filter out swing areas where price visited the area a number of time inferior to the user set threshold. \"Volume\" will filter out swing areas where the accumulated volume within the area is inferior to the user set threshold.

🔹 Style

Swing High : Show swing highs.
Swing Low : Show swing lows.
Label Size : Size of the labels on the chart.

Note that swing points are confirmed after Pivot Lookback bars, as such all elements are displayed retrospectively.

-move the messages by dragging the first line

-then resizing the box of the message is done via right clicking- >properties with changing first line width, rest of the lines are adjusted after dragging the msg.

2. Unanchored/free = is attached to point on chart (time and price), and is moving as the chart changes

-text cannot be changed after placing
-size is changing with the chart timeframe and scale
(there is a input option \"auto resize\" that will try to keep the messages the same width as when they were created after changing chart scale, line height spacing is recalculated after dragging )

-box (the background) can be dragged to move and resize (\"auto resize\" input option must be false in order to keep desired size)

Functions:

-input font for all messages

-for EACH message: font size, text color, background color, bg on/off, anchored on/off

-all notes can be moved by dragging 1. top-left point for anchored or 2. middle point for unanchored

-double-clicking on these points shows/hides the points (so note is locked in place)

-anchored notes are all created in the middle of the chart

-free notes are created on the left bar bottom or on the right bar (setting in input parameter)

-each note can be deleted and edited via properties -settings for size/border/color

-panel can be minimized and then moved

-color picker on chart for both text color and background color (after opening color palette it can be closed by clicking on 'free space' on main panel (no text or buttons))

-2 separate \"delete all\" buttons for both types of messages with 3-click confirmation safety, deletes all messages of selected type for current chart.

-saving panel settings to file = so changing TF or removing and adding this indicator again will keep the same input text for each line

(save is done on indicator's de-init or with save button)

(EACH symbol has its own save file for each account, so adding this indicator to second chart of the same symbol will load the same panel and text)

-minimizing panel resets lines to last saved state

(so you can clear or edit all text and then go back to last saved by minimizing panel)

-Notes are saved when exiting Metatrader and keep on chart upon starting the app again, closing the chart will delete all messages)

Input parameters:

-count of lines = number of input boxes (for editing each line, maximum count is limited to 20 )

-font for all notes

-\"auto resize\" -when active , indicator keeps the messages the same size (only WIDTH) after changing chart scale, TF...

(*NOTE that fonts in MT5 have different pixel spacing so its impossible to automatically scale the box to fit the text length for every case and font)
(message HEIGHT = vertical spacing between lines is auto-adjusting after dragging the messages))

-Place note on first visible bar LEFT= if true new unanchored note is added to bottom-left, if false this message is added to middle-right end of the chart (LATEST BAR), anchored messages are always added in middle

-and 4 color settings for panel, buttons, default note background, default note text

Buttons:

-minimalize: hides the panel and enables moving it on chart. Maximizing panel will load the last saved settings and text input

-chart notes: for dragging the panel on chart

-SAVE Settings : saves panel data for current symbol= all input text, panel position, panel visibility, note fontsize-color-bg color, use background, anchored status, 'char notes' button selected state
(SAVE is done automatically when changing TF or removing the indicator, LOAD is done on changing TF or maximizing panel)

-Clear all inputs: deletes all text from edit boxes

-2 Delete buttons =deletes all messages of selected type (click 3 times to confirm)

-NEW NOTE = places a new note with current text (takes all input lines that contains text) on chart

(anchored is put in the middle, unanchored are on left bar bottom or right bar middle (left bar is the first visible bar on chart, and right bar is the newest bar added on chart )

RaysUntilIntersection (default = Stop_No_Rays) — defines the way median and value area rays will be cut off when they meet the next trading session's price range:
- Stop_No_Rays — no rays are stopped anywhere.
- Stop_All_Rays — all rays are stopped at an intersection with the price of another session.
- Stop_All_Rays_Except_Prev_Session — all rays except the previous session's rays are stopped at an intersection with the price of another session.

KeyValuesColor (default = clrWhite) — the color for Value Area High, Value Area Low, and Point of Control printout.
KeyValuesSize (default = 8) — the font size for Value Area High, Value Area Low, and Point of Control printout.
ShowSinglePrint (default = No) — can be set to Leftside or Rightside and will mark the single print profile — a part of the profile, which is only one TPO wide.
SinglePrintRays (default = false) — if true, single print edges are marked with rays.
SinglePrintColor (default = clrGold) — the color for single print marking if ShowSinglePrint isn't set to No.
SinglePrintRayStyle (default = STYLE_SOLID) — the single print ray line style.
SinglePrintRayWidth (default = 1) — the single print ray line width.
ProminentMedianColor (default = clrYellow) — the color for the prominent median (PPOC) if ProminentMedianPercentage is set to 100 or less.
ProminentMedianStyle (default = STYLE_SOLID) — the style for the prominent median (PPOC) if ProminentMedianPercentage is set to 100 or less.
ProminentMedianWidth (default = 4) — the width for the prominent median (PPOC) if ProminentMedianPercentage is set to 100 or less.
RightToLeft (default = false) — if true, the current session's market profile has its histogram drawn from right to left. In case Session is set to Rectangle, market profiles of all sessions are drawn right-to-left.

Performance

PointMultiplier (default = 0) — the higher it is, the wider are the profile's price boxes and the fewer are the chart objects. You can use it to reduce the indicator's load on CPU. When the value is zero, an adaptive multiplier is used — the indicator attempts to calculate the optimal value automatically.
ThrottleRedraw (default = 0) — a delay in seconds that will be applied before each redraw of the profiles. You can use it to reduce the indicator's load on CPU.
DisableHistogram (default = false) — if true, no market profile histogram is drawn, but Value Area and Median are still marked. This makes indicator work extremely fast, but is less useful for thorough market analysis.

Alerts

AlertNative (default = false) — if true, the indicator will issue the platform's native pop-up alert when some alert conditions are met.
AlertEmail (default = false) — if true, MetaTrader's email alerts will be sent when some alert conditions are met. Email should be properly configured in MetaTrader via Tools->Options->Email
AlertPush (default = false) — if true, MetaTrader's push notification alerts will be sent to your mobile device when some alert conditions are met. Notifications should be properly configured in MetaTrader via Tools->Options->Notifications. This alert type is not available in the cTrader version of the indicator.
AlertArrows (default = false) — if true, MetaTrader will draw arrows on the chart when some alert conditions are met.
AlertCheckBar (default = Previous) — controls the bar to check the alert conditions on. Current — the indicator will check the current unfinished bar; expect a lot of alerts. Previous — the indicator will check the previous (closed) bar; alerts will be delayed but more concise.
AlertForValueArea (default = false) — if true, alerts will be issued whenever a Value Area ray (high or low) is crossed by the price.
AlertForMedian (default = false) — if true, alerts will be issued whenever a Median ray is crossed by the price.
AlertForSinglePrint (default = false) — if true, alerts will be issued whenever a Single Print ray is crossed by the price.
AlertOnPriceBreak (default = false) — if true, alerts will be issued when the price breaks any of the trigger levels but then returns back behind it.

DisableAlertsOnWrongTimeframes (default = false) — if true, no pop-up alerts will appear on using Market Profile with wrong timeframe/session combination.

In order to receive notifications you must go to Tools -> options and in the notifications tab you must enable push notification and notifications from local terminal. You must also enter your MetaQuotes ID which you can get in your Messages tab in your mobile device labeled \"MQID\". Also make sure your MT5 app has permission for notifications in your mobile device.

Sub-value types

Some value types have sub-values to choose from e.g Price(value type) has opening price ,closing price ,high and low sub-values and the 1st or 2nd value of the condition will use that sub-value when condition is being compared(see image 4).

Symbol and timeframe

Some value types will require you to choose their Symbol and Timeframe e.g if you choose Moving average as your value type in a condition ,it will need a symbol (EURUSD,GBPUSD) and timeframe (1hour,2hour).(see image 5)

Adding condition to list(see image 6,7 and 8)

After creating a condition you must add that condition under the current condition list.
To fully view the condition before adding it you must press show current cond fully button.

After adding all conditions and saving the alert message you must add that list and you can start a new one.
After you are done with with all lists press Done and you will be taken to a list of Alerts where you must activate the alert so it can start working.

Time value type

This value type has the current hour ,current minute ,current day of the week ,current day of the month ,current month and current year as it's sub-value types.
Current Hour-(from 0 to 23).
Current Minute-(from 1 to 60).
Current day of the week-(from 1 to 5).
Current day of the month-(from 1 to end of the month).
Current month-(from 1 to 12).
Current year-(full year e.g 2023).

Value candle number

Some value types require candle number e.g if your chosen value type is Moving average in a condition you must choose a candle. If the candle number is 0 it will use the current Moving average value from the current active candle every time a condition is checked ,if it is 1 it will use the first candle after (previously closed).
