HOW TO \"READ\" THIS INDICATOR

Using classical Technical Analysis you already know, you can confirm several patterns and confluences with the Aggression Monitor FX.
Wyckoff fans will enjoy this additional Volume information.
Scalpers can use this indicator to find exhaustion and continuation points (M5 timeframes and above).
This is a non-lagging indicator (well, it is a little bit since it is paced at the 1-minute frequency) you can use to support and confirm all your strategy decisions.
There are 2 isolated average lines: one for the BUY pressure and another for the SELL pressure. When the aggression volume surpasses the average, the histogram will light up.
There is also a third average line that represents the BUY/SELL pressure Delta, which you can use as a thermometer of Volume Direction. You can use it as a reference of power when it is Above/Below the indicator Zero-Line. You can shorten or expand its period of analysis to capture data for your ENTRY/EXIT strategies.
It could be also very useful for creating Stop Loss strategies.

SETTINGS

Volume Type To Use - Real Volume or Tick Volume
Period to be used for Scanning Volume Data - Choose your desired timeframe accordingly, ALWAYS Less than the current Timeframe being used. The smaller the Timeframe, the greater the granularity of the volume Data.
Period for Each Aggression Average (BUY & SELL) - Moving average will be applied on the BUY and on the SELL side on the Volume histogram.
Period for the Average Between the BUY/SELL Delta Volume - Choose the period for the Delta analysis.
Hide Indicator Name on the Sub-Window?
Show Success/Fail feedback messages in the Log Window (EXPERTS tab)

How does the Magic Storm work

The Magic Storm will commence only if the Initial Trade becomes a losing trade. In case the initial trade is a

Simple Fractal Search Algorithm

The algorithm finds the fractals based on your setting paramers for candles around fractal high or low. When a price fractal is identified, we then search for an order block around the fractal zone.

This is not a realtime algorithm and its perfectly ok. It is fractal based. ?? What does that mean ?? A fractal (set of candles that meet a specific criteria or rules) must first be identified. In this case the rules detect whether we have a high or low. When a high or low has been identified, that is only and only when an Order block will be sought within that fractal. As such, because a fractal has to be identified first, the indicator does not repaint.

For example: if you select that CandlesAroundFractal = 3, this means that for a fractal high/low to be identified there must be 7 candles that form the fractal, 1 candle at the extrema, 3 candles to the left and 3 candles to tha right. On the open of the 4th candle to the right the fratal will have been fully created and rules having been met - this is the point in time when the orderblock will be searched for.

This algorithm only identies orderblocks at etremum points only i.e (Fractal Highs and Fractal Lows).

For an order block to be identified there must be x*CandlesAroundFractal. In other words for a candle to be a qualified orderblock it must have x candles around fractal on either side.

Naive Fractal Movers Algorithm

This algorithm is a modified version of the simple fractal search algorithm. It used a lower candle around fractal value. Recommended is 2/3. it then identifies only the orderblocks that have price that move away from the orderblock within a set candle count threshhold (fast move detection candle limit)

Candle Transition Algorithm

This algorithm identifies orderblocks by first identifying a a shift from bull to bear of from bear to bull candle. Then the next consecutive candles must be one directional.

Also for stricter orderblock selection you can choose to only identofy those whose shift candle is engulfing for strength identificaion.

Note:

The indicator will detect and plot bullish and bearish orderblocks for an timeframe your chart is currently displaying.

Strategy

There are some news within a day that can make the price jumps up or down very quickly and that is a good opportunity for traders to get some profits.

Looking to scalp a news release? Here's how you can do it:

Open two stop orders (a buy stop and a sell stop) 3 to 5 minutes before the news release. Place them about 15 to 20 pips away from the current market price.
When the news is released, there are three possible scenarios:

The price doesn't move much and neither of your orders is triggered. In this case, simply close both pending orders and finish your scalping session.
The price moves up and triggers your buy stop order. Close your sell stop order and let the buy order continue to run.
The price moves down and triggers your sell stop order. Close your buy stop order and let the sell order continue to run.

By scalping the news in this way, you can take advantage of sudden market movements and potentially make a quick profit. However, it's important to note that scalping can be a high-risk strategy, and it's important to carefully manage your trades and limit your exposure to the market.

Notice: Some brokers lock the chart from making order within 1-2 minutes before and after the news, so it is better if we open the trader sooner than 2 mins before the news release time.

Indicator detects pivot points of supposed reversal trends and print text labels at the opening of signal bar.

There are 4 inputs:

Bars to left - quantity of bars for analyzing to the left of currently analyzing bar;
Bars to right - quantity of bars for analyzing to the right when and if left bars analysis found supposed pivot point;
ATR (average true range) period and multiplier are used some type of noise reducing calculations.

Labels contain direction of signal LE means long entry and SE - short entry. Also they contain price of signal pivot point.

Data window contains output of calculated buffers of baselines and main trade signal buffer. Thus, it allows to incorporate it with expert advisor, say as entry signal, stop loss definition or supposed take profit goals.
