What is Market Imbalance and why is it important to you?

Market Imbalance is also known as Improper Price Action (IPA) or Fair Value Gap (FVG).

It happens when price moves very quickly in one direction, say up, with no selling pressure. This creates a \"gap\" in the wicks of the candles.

E.g. if the last closed candle is number 1 and the one before that is number 2 etc, then Imbalance is described like this:
Candle 1's wick has a gap between it and candle number 3's gap (please see the screenshots below).

All this happens as the Banks place huge orders on the Forex Markets and create this fast movement - but - they have to go back and \"mitigate\" these big moves at some point - and that is when price will return and \"fill in\" the gap.

As a Trader you can can use these gaps as possible targets for your Take Profit Levels.

The challenge is that, although we know these gaps will be filled, we do not know when. Sometines it is minutes, sometimes it is hours, or even days depending on the timeframe you are trading on.

Works very well in conjunction with the Trend Continuation Alerts Indicator and Consolidation Breakout Indicator.

Obviously, we all know the markets are unpredictable – otherwise we would all be successful all the time.

Imbalance_PIp_Gap

This sets the minimum number of pips of imbalance you want to be shown. Obviously this needs to be higher for higher timeframes.

The lower the value, more signals, but less accurate.

What is a Retracement and why is it important to you?

As you know, the market goes through phases of trend and retracement.

Price can only move so far in one direction before there is a small \"correction\" or \"retracement\" in the opposite direction.

The Retracement Pip Catcher alerts you when this is about to happen. This means you can catch these small movements.

But if they are small movements, can you make a profit?

Yes - even though the movements are small, the stop losses are also small and the reward to risk can be very high.

Of course, you will not win every trade, but if you only take trades with a minimum reward to risk of 3:1, the you only need to win 1 out of 4 to breakeven.

Please remember that when you trade using this indicator that these are retracements. They are counter-trend. Your profit target should only be a few pips compared to the move just before the signal.

Do not be greedy.

Blue controls.

How to use Average Daily Range (ADR) Indicator?

ADR is just a simple indicator tool to help trader identify the daily average range of an instrument. So for example we have the pairs EURUSD and that pairs usually makes a peak and bottom during the trading day and the point from the bottom to the peak point of this trading trading day create a range for that day, in which the pairs usually moves within it for example 80 pips ( 800 points so counted with the fifth digit), and the distance from these two points from bottom to peak is measured in points; we have created that indicator based on the idea of the custom ATR indicator but we illustrate the products on a dashboard with digits to see; furthermore we add the functions for taking periods in days as average to calculate and also the alert functions, which will send to trader a notice that the usually average daily range of that instrument has been triggered. The illustration on a dashboard and the calculation thereof help the day trader a quick idea how many pips the instruments still have the free space to move up/down for the trading day.

ADR Settings

Symbols to put, each symbol must be separated with a comma;

Period: put number in day, 1= one day average calculate, 2= two days average calculate and so on...

Time frames: Hourly, Daily and Weekly, which will measure the range of hours counted from the current candle to the set periods, for example: chose hourly and put 5, means a range of 5 hours will be measured. So the same calculating for daily and weekly. Try it to experience.

Factor: That means a set average period of range can put addition target factor you prefer to; for example: average of daily range for EURUSD for 50 periods of day would be 100 pips, you put factor 1.5 then your target will be 150 pips to send alert.

Click on symbol: On the dashboard, just click on the Symbol, it will lead you to the chart of that symbol/open the chart window of that symbol. Just try it to experience.

With a higher value of Softness, the indicator ignores small price changes and low trends. Therefore, the indicator stays at its state longer as an uptrend or downtrend. Open and Close weight factors are used to change price curve form based on the priority of the Open or Close price.

Less Softness, more sensitivity! For softness greater than 0.4, you may have one bar lag. Check the lag first.

No matter what timeframe you choose, it works at M5 as well as H1 or H12.

New Trend Alerts has less sensitivity on short timeframes such as M1 and M5. Therefore, you can select longer timeframes like H1 and higher.

PLEASE NOTE: You should enable notifications in MetaTrader in order to receive Email and Mobile Notifications from this indicator. In the context of the SmartMass indicator, it evaluates how much the price changes during the momentum and assigns a numerical value based on that magnitude. Larger momentums will receive a higher score.

Width (W): Width refers to the duration of the momentum in terms of time (number of candles). A wider momentum is one that extends over a longer period. The EA adapts its behavior to slippage. If the broker incurrs into considerable slippage when filling first two orders of the deal, the EA will refrain from hedging thus locking-in a loss in the ring. Pair Ring: Select a built-in pair ring to trade or select \"Manual Inputs\".
1st Symbol: The first symbol of the pair ring. For example, EURUSD.
2nd Symbol: The second symbol of the pair ring. For example, EURGBP.
Hedge Symbol: The hedge symbol of the pair ring. For example, GBPUSD.
Trade Trigger: The minimum price discrepancy to trade in pips. A higher trigger will cause less trading frequency.
Profit Target: The profit target for the deals in pips. A higher profit target will cause more variance in trading results.
Hedge: Enable or disable hedging of the deals. Deals can also be profitable without hedging and transaction costs are smaller.
Trading Weekdays: Enable or disable trading on any given weekday, from monday to sunday.

La seconda cosa che dobbiamo fare è guardare il nostro (1 ora 2a anatra), dobbiamo vedere il prezzo attuale sopra o sotto anche su questo grafico, questo ci dà conferma, ad esempio se queste due anatre ora al di sotto della media ci concentriamo su vendere e se sono superiori ci concentriamo sull'acquisto. Importante - Se la media del prezzo attuale non corrisponde alla prima anatra (4 ore) non possiamo passare al punto 3.
Dal passaggio 1 e 2, esempio per l'acquisto: i prezzi correnti della 1a, 2a e 3a papera ora devono essere al di sopra della media. Principio di funzionamento

Installazione

Carica Universal Scroller sul grafico. Nella finestra delle Impostazioni, sincronizza entrambi gli indicatori: per fare ciò, nel campo parametro, inserisci un valore dal tuo indicatore. Ad esempio, se l'indicatore selezionato è 14, nelle impostazioni di Universal Scroller impostare Parameter 14.
Dopo che il pulsante appare sul grafico, puoi trascinarlo in qualsiasi luogo conveniente, ricorderà la sua posizione.
L'indicatore è pronto per l'uso. Basta posizionare il cursore sul pulsante!

Applicazione

Posiziona il cursore sul pulsante e gira la rotellina del mouse. L'opzione selezionata aumenterà o diminuirà, con incrementi impostati nella finestra delle Impostazioni.
