La strategia principale di questo esperto è - MOVING AVERAGE CONVERGENCE/DIVERGENCE (MACD) - di Gerald Appel

La media mobile di convergenza/divergenza (MACD) è un indicatore tecnico che aiuta gli investitori a identificare le tendenze dei prezzi, a misurare il momentum del trend e a individuare i punti di ingresso per l'acquisto o la vendita. Il MACD è un indicatore di trend-following momentum che mostra la relazione tra due medie mobili esponenziali (EMA) del prezzo di un titolo.

L'indicatore MACD è un insieme di tre serie temporali calcolate a partire dai dati storici del prezzo, spesso il prezzo di chiusura. Queste tre serie sono: la serie MACD propriamente detta, la serie SIGNAL o AVERAGE e la serie DIVERGENCE che è la differenza tra le due. La serie MACD è la differenza tra una media mobile esponenziale (EMA) VELOCE (a breve periodo) e una EMA LENTA (a lungo periodo) della serie dei prezzi. La serie media è un'EMA della serie MACD stessa.

CROSSOVER SEGNALE-LINEA

Un “signal-line crossover” si verifica quando le linee del MACD e della media si incrociano, ovvero quando la divergenza (il grafico a barre) cambia segno. L'interpretazione standard di questo evento è una raccomandazione ad acquistare se la linea del MACD attraversa la linea della media (un crossover “rialzista”), o a vendere se attraversa la linea della media (un crossover “ribassista”). Questi eventi vengono considerati come indicazioni che la tendenza del titolo sta per accelerare nella direzione del crossover.

CROSSOVER A ZERO

Un evento di “zero crossover” si verifica quando la serie MACD cambia segno, cioè la linea MACD attraversa l'asse orizzontale dello zero. Ciò avviene quando non vi è alcuna differenza tra le EMA veloci e lente della serie di prezzi. Un cambiamento da positivo a negativo del MACD viene interpretato come “ribassista”, e da negativo a positivo come “rialzista”. I crossover a zero forniscono prove di un cambiamento nella direzione di una tendenza, ma meno conferme del suo slancio rispetto a un crossover della linea del segnale.

DIVERGENZA

Una “divergenza positiva” o “divergenza rialzista” si verifica quando il prezzo fa un nuovo minimo, ma il MACD non lo conferma con un suo nuovo minimo. Una “divergenza negativa” o “divergenza ribassista” si verifica quando il prezzo raggiunge un nuovo massimo ma il MACD non conferma un suo nuovo massimo. Una divergenza rispetto al prezzo può verificarsi sulla linea del MACD e/o sull'istogramma MACD.

SEGNALI FALSI

Come ogni algoritmo di previsione, il MACD può generare falsi segnali. Un falso positivo, ad esempio, sarebbe un crossover rialzista seguito da un improvviso calo di un titolo. Un falso negativo sarebbe una situazione in cui si verifica un crossover ribassista, ma il titolo accelera improvvisamente al rialzo.

Una strategia prudente può essere quella di applicare un filtro ai segnali di crossover per assicurarsi che abbiano retto. Un esempio di filtro sui prezzi potrebbe essere quello di acquistare se la linea MACD si rompe al di sopra della linea del segnale e poi rimane al di sopra di essa per tre giorni. Come per qualsiasi strategia di filtraggio, questo riduce la probabilità di falsi segnali ma aumenta la frequenza dei mancati profitti.

The daily limit (Max Total Trades Per Day, Max Long Trades Per Day, Max Short Trades Per Day) has been reached.
MA Filter conditions (if enabled) are not met.
BE / TSL triggers have not been reached.

SL Value=0 + Risk Percent, yet it still places trades?

To calculate lot size, the EA assumes for Buy => SL=0, for Sell => SL=entry price × 2. This is only used to compute risk-based lots, not to actually place an SL.

How does TSL / BE handle decimals when set to Points?

The EA rounds the value to the nearest integer (e.g., 0.5 => 1, 1.5 => 2, 2.6 => 3, etc.).

What if Range Filter is set to Points and I enter decimals?

Those decimal values for Min/Max are also rounded to the nearest integer (e.g., 0.1 => 1, 2.4 => 2, 2.5 => 3).

Risk Percent lot size differs from my expectation?

Check the SL Calculation Method, SL Value, or potential fallback if SL=0. The EA finalizes the lot size based on the actual (or simulated) SL distance.
