Atlas to Power the Next Generation of On-Chain Data Infrastructure, Succeeding Binance Oracle

George Town, Cayman Islands, May 6th, 2026, Chainwire

Atlas , a blockchain oracle infrastructure provider backed by CoinMarketCap (CMC), today announced it is assuming stewardship of oracle services previously operated by Binance Oracle. This transition covers price feeds and data delivery across BNB Chain, opBNB, and other applicable networks.

Binance Oracle has commenced a 90-day transition period during which Atlas will gradually assume responsibility for the relevant services. Existing projects and partners are strongly encouraged to engage with the Atlas team as soon as possible and to make any necessary technical, product, and operational migration arrangements to ensure service continuity and stability.

Atlas introduces configurability at the protocol level, allowing migrating projects to customize their data infrastructure according to their specific requirements. This includes the selection of aggregation methods such as median, TWAP, VWAP, and trimmed mean, as well as per-pair staleness thresholds, confidence bands, and update cadences. For projects transitioning from Binance Oracle, this provides both continuity of service and expanded control over how on-chain data is consumed.

The migration also provides direct access to CoinMarketCap's foundational data infrastructure, which aggregates pricing information from over 905 sources; significantly more than the current industry standard. This enables robust outlier filtering and accurate price discovery, particularly for long-tail and newly listed assets. Atlas's proprietary Consensus Score mechanism further secures price credibility based on availability, consensus, and volume support, while providing immediate coverage for long-tail assets without manual onboarding delays.

Atlas has already completed integrations with major BNB Chain protocols, including Venus Protocol, and Lista DAO. These integrations demonstrate operational readiness and provide a reference framework for other projects planning their migration from Binance Oracle.

Jin Choo, CEO of Atlas, commented on the transition: "Our priority right now is the developers. Migrating infrastructure is always a heavy lift for any protocol, so we've designed this process to be as straightforward as possible. We are stepping in not just to maintain these feeds, but to upgrade them. By routing this data directly through Atlas's first-party infrastructure, we're giving these projects access to a much deeper, more resilient data layer."

Projects that fail to complete engagement with the Atlas team and corresponding migration arrangements within the 90-day transition period may experience service interruption, data unavailability, or delayed updates. The Atlas team has established a dedicated support channel to assist with integrations. Projects currently utilizing Binance Oracle are strongly encouraged to initiate the migration process immediately to ensure uninterrupted service.

ABOUT ATLAS

Atlas is a blockchain oracle infrastructure provider backed by CoinMarketCap. By leveraging first-party data directly from CoinMarketCap, Atlas provides configurable, permissionless data feeds secured by its proprietary Consensus Score mechanism. Atlas delivers high-frequency price feeds and data services to DeFi protocols, dApps, and institutional users across leading blockchain ecosystems.

ABOUT BINANCE ORACLE

Binance Oracle is a blockchain oracle service developed by Binance to connect smart contracts with trusted, verified off-chain data. Originally built for the BNB Chain ecosystem, it allows decentralized applications to securely access real-world information without having to manage complex data infrastructure themselves. For developers, this means fewer distractions around data reliability and more focus on building meaningful products.
