UEC Q4 Earnings Call Highlights Production Ramp and U.S. Strategy

Uranium Energy Corp. UEC used its fiscal fourth-quarter earnings call to emphasize the next phase of its U.S. production ramp, with added capacity at Christensen Ranch, the Burke Hollow ramp-up and continued development of Ludeman.

The operating progress came as revenues exceeded the Zacks Consensus Estimate, although the quarterly loss was wider than expected. Management remained focused on scaling production while preserving uranium-price exposure and advancing its U.S. refining and conversion strategy.

UEC Scales Its U.S. Production Platform

President, CEO and director Amir Adnani said fiscal 2026 established UEC as a multi-mine producer, expanding from one producing mine in one state to two mines across Wyoming and Texas.

Fourth-quarter combined production reached 82,744 pounds of precipitated uranium and dried and drummed U3O8, up 157% sequentially. Total cash cost was $30.01 per pound, while total cost was $36.54 per pound.

For fiscal 2026, combined production totaled 229,294 pounds. Adnani said fiscal 2027 will focus on scaling the operating platform built during the past year.

Uranium Energy Tops Revenue Expectations

UEC reported a fiscal fourth-quarter loss of 7 cents per share compared with the Zacks Consensus Estimate for a loss of 4 cents.

Quarterly revenues totaled $17.05 million, substantially above the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $9 million.

Management focused more heavily on full-year uranium sales during the call. UEC sold 400,000 pounds in fiscal 2026 at a weighted average realized price of $93.13 per pound, generating revenues of $37.3 million and gross profit of $16.9 million.

UEC Adds Capacity at Christensen Ranch

Christensen Ranch produced 65,392 pounds during the quarter as three new header houses operated for a full period. Total cost fell 35% sequentially to $35.63 per pound.

Adnani said four additional header houses received final regulatory approval on Sept. 28, with production expected to start in the coming weeks. Three more header houses are under construction.

Senior vice president of U.S. Operations Brent Berg told an SCP Resource Finance analyst that construction is also progressing at Ludeman, supporting UEC's effort to maintain its development tempo beyond Christensen Ranch.

Uranium Energy Takes a Measured Texas Ramp

Burke Hollow produced 17,352 pounds during its first full quarter at a total cash cost of $36.13 per pound and total cost of $39.93.

Berg said UEC is using a small section of the first production area to establish operating parameters, including lixiviant chemistry, pump sizing and well-pattern configurations. Those findings will guide expansion across the broader wellfield.

Adnani emphasized that Burke Hollow is a greenfield project, unlike the restarted Christensen Ranch operation, making this initial optimization work an important part of the ramp-up process.

UEC Holds Back on Fiscal 2027 Guidance

A Canaccord Genuity analyst asked management for fiscal 2027 production expectations as additional capacity comes online.

Adnani declined to issue formal production guidance because regulatory approval timing remains outside the company's control. He said approval timelines are improving as regulators work through increased uranium permitting activity.

Management also did not provide a specific startup date for Ludeman. Adnani said UEC could offer greater timeline clarity when it reports fiscal first-quarter results.

Uranium Energy Preserves Pricing Exposure

Adnani said UEC's unhedged strategy remains intact. The company ended fiscal 2026 with 1.26 million pounds of uranium inventory valued at $109 million at then-current market prices.

UEC also reported $753 million in liquid assets, including $495 million in cash, with no debt. Management said this financial position allows the company flexibility over when it sells uranium.

Executive vice president Scott Melbye said utility discussions and long-term solicitations have increased. He indicated UEC could pursue contracts that provide longer-term certainty while retaining exposure to uranium-price upside.

UEC Advances Its Conversion Ambitions

Management also highlighted United States Uranium Refining & Conversion Corp., its planned expansion beyond uranium mining into conversion.

Berg said a Class IV cost estimate being developed with Fluor is expected by mid-2027 and will establish project cost and timing ahead of a final investment decision.

UEC is preparing a Nuclear Regulatory Commission license application, progressing site selection and working with a dedicated 63-person project team.

Uranium Energy Keeps Its Focus on Execution

Adnani told a ROTH Capital Partners analyst that UEC is focused on scaling its existing uranium portfolio rather than pursuing incremental acquisitions.

That emphasizes production growth at Christensen Ranch and Burke Hollow, Ludeman development, Sweetwater permitting and continued progress on the conversion project.
