ADXとは？

Average Directional Movement Index（ADX）は、J. Welles Wilderが開発した技術的指標で、方向性に関係なくトレンドの強さを測定するために使用されます。ADXはポジティブ方向指標（+DI）とネガティブ方向指標（-DI）から導出されますが、トレンドの方向ではなく強さのみを示します。

Smart Money Zones Proをニーズに合わせてカスタマイズするにはどうすればよいですか？

標準設定のSM Zones Proインジケーターを任意の銘柄のチャートに読み込むと、選択した時間枠の先月分の銘柄価格のすべてのSMゾーンが自動的にマークされます。

SM Zones Proのすべての機能を使用するには、インジケーターの使用を開始する前に、設定ウィンドウで必要な設定を正しく選択することをお勧めします。

SM Zones Proで可能な設定は何ですか？

1. 「シンボル1.. シンボル10」と「時間枠M1.. 時間枠MN1」 - 取引銘柄とこれらの銘柄の時間枠。インジケーターは各銘柄と時間枠のチャートを別ウィンドウで開き、それぞれにSMゾーンを表示します。

Indicator Logic

Flat Range Detection:
Analyzes history for a specified period ( FB_LookbackBars ).
Finds the local minimum (FL) and two nearest maxima (U1 and U2).
Upper flat boundary — max(U1,U2), lower — FL.
Flat is confirmed if the width is less than FB_MaxRangePips .
Breakout Signals:
If candle closes above max(U1,U2) — breakout up.
If closes below FL — breakout down.
Signal is displayed for a set number of bars.
Analysis Panel:
Each panel cell shows the flat/breakout status for GBPUSD on each selected timeframe:
- Yellow — flat active
- Green — breakout up
- Red — breakout down
- Gray — no signal or insufficient history

Parameters

Mode - one of supported methods: High below Low/Low above High, Gann swing, Close vs Close (Weis wave), Retracement;
ProcessTicks - an option to calculate ZigZag on every tick, by default - false; with this value, the last incomplete edge is not shown until it's formed comletely and new (hidden yet) edge is started; if the option is set to true, the last incomplete edge is shown on the chart and my be redrawn according to ongoing price action;
RetracementPercent - size of price retracement (%), which changes zigzag direction (used in Retracement or Close vs Close modes only); 0 by default means special auto-adaptive retracement algorithm (see below);

NOTE. As with any other ZigZag implementation, the indicator may redraw the last edge if it's not yet completed (and tick processing is enabled). This is by design. All previous edges and up/down marks are stable.

WARNING. While using the 1-st mode, the extremums may not always hit visually most prominent candles. This happens if a higher high or a lower low occurs on a bar where new edge is already forming in opposite direction. For example, if a down arrow mark is shown on the bar A, that means that downward edge is forming on the next bars to the right of A, and hence only lows are processed there for searching extremums. High extremum should remain standing to the left of A only. As a result, if a higher high is located between the bar A and next low extremum, the high can not be marked as high extremum (because it's a section of downward edge). This behaviour is intentional and ensures stability of already formed edges. This is according to the 1-st algorithm. Please, find an explanation on one of the screenshots below.

Auto-adaptive retracement level is calculated by the formula:

Retracement = LastExtreme ± |LastEdge| / sqrt(N + 1),

where N is a number of bars between the last extreme and current bar. On the current bar N = 0, hence the retracement size is equal to 1, that is the total size of the last edge. On single bar distance the size is about 0.71, on 3 bars - 0.5, on 8 bars - 1/3 of the last edge price change.

What you can do with it (and what you can’t)

When the live cross (AC) goes BAND OUT while quality stays OK, the screen is showing a dislocation consistent with a triangular arbitrage-like window (price temporarily outside a spread-included band). Retail execution is usually not fast enough to capture such windows reliably, but LiveGAP lets you observe, validate, and document these events without hindsight.

What you see on the dashboard

Each row is one triad and displays:

TRIAD: AB / BC / AC instruments
AB / BC / AC Bid/Ask (spr) age: live Bid/Ask, spread in pips, tick age (seconds)
SYN Bid/Ask: theoretical cross derived from AB and BC (spread-included band)
GAP(p): difference between live AC mid and synthetic mid (pips) with heat intensity
BAND: IN (inside band) / OUT (outside band; highlighted)
Quality:
- OK / WRN / BAD based on tick freshness and bar-time alignment across the 3 symbols
- WRN helps you avoid “false arbitrage” caused by stale ticks or misaligned data

The code only generates the signal command. You must configure the MetaTrader 5 (MT5) platform for your phone to actually receive these notifications.

Step 1: On Your Mobile Phone

Open the MetaTrader 5 App on your phone.
Go to Settings -> Chat and Messages.
Find your MetaQuotes ID at the bottom of the screen (it is a unique combination of letters and numbers). Write this ID down.

Timeframe multiplier: to detect higher timeframe based on candle count. If you on M1, 60 means it detects all possible H1 candle on every minute.
Is play sound alert: if it's true then it will play wav file below every first sign.

In practice, this signal may indicate that the price has undergone a temporary correction, but the main trend is still in effect. If this signal occurs, it could be a good time to enter a long or short position depending on the current trend.

It is important to set the right stop loss and take profit levels to limit losses and maximize profits, as with any other trading system. It is also recommended to test this signal on historical data to evaluate its effectiveness before using it with real money.

By observing the inclinations of the Supertrends, the angle at which they move relative to the price, traders can get an idea of the strength of the trend and its direction. It is important to consider other factors such as support and resistance levels, volume, and fundamental market analysis.

Stop loss management involves putting the stop loss when entering a position on the Supertrend farthest from the price at an adequate distance from the entry point.

Once the position reaches breakeven plus a certain margin, it may be considered to move the stop loss to breakeven, a level that no longer incurs losses.

Subsequently, the stop loss could be moved to the Supertrend closest to the price or to the intermediate position between the two closest Supertrends, depending on personal preferences.

In general, stop loss management should be based on risk management and one's trading strategy. It is important to set appropriate stop loss levels and manage them actively based on market developments.

Those traditional indicator systems must be constantly optimized and settings tinkered with because of the changing market environment. There are an infinite number of variables that affect price so no exact technical system can work the same forever, which is also the reason why most bots/EA fail.

If you learn to spot the Forex Master Pattern and understand the sequence of the real cycles that drive the markets, you can more accurately forecast market behavior. By using traditional indicators you end up masking this pattern.

Use the insights provided by the Forex Master Pattern indicator to elevate your trading to the next level.

This method of analysis works in any liquid market and timeframe.

VERY IMPORTANT:

The default setting of historical bars is set to 500. This is more than enough for day trading and ensures fast drawings loading time and stable performance. Bear in mind that, the more bars you choose to load historically, the longer it will take to draw everything. On my mid end computer it takes 1 minute to load 10K bars worth of boxes and lines on a 5min chart, for example. If you try to load too many bars historically in lots of different charts and on top of that other indicators, don´t come here and complain about performance issues (metatrader hanging, lagging, weird behaviors etc...)

Be mindful to choose the appropriate number of historical bars used for calculation according to the timeframe you load the indicator in.

I recommend that you use the strategy tester if you wanna analyze more than 10K bars historically. Instead of trying to load 20K, 30K bars for the algorithm to analyze and draw boxes, it is better if you configure the strategy tester to start where you want to perform your longer term historical analysis.

Indicator Parameters:

They are all self-explanatory, except Type. You can choose between 1 and 2.

1 is better suited for LTF (M1 to M30)

2 is better suited for HTF (H1 and upwards)

However, this is my personal preference. You can of course experiment and choose what looks best for you.

PS: The 1st time you launch the indicator on a new symbol, or when you launch the platform and it contains a chart or charts where the indicator was loaded previously, It's normal to sometimes notice an odd behavior (lines may seem to print weirdly and alerts might reflect that too). From what I can tell it's because missing segments of historical data. By scrolling the chart back to force some historical data do be downloaded, waiting for 30 seconds at least for current data to download then changing timeframe back and forth will take care of it.

HOW TO \"READ\" THIS INDICATOR

Lines Crossovers may be used as a signal of a probable change in trend.
A Line above the 70 level indicates a probable strong trend.
When both lines are below the 70/50 level could indicate a ranging/sideways market.
