Visualization

With mode Bars apart each bar in histogram is colored according to the sign of its value (when VolumeType is Bar Volume, the sign is determined by direction of the candle); otherwise each bar is colored according to direction of the wave to which it belongs. Bars in wave color still shows every bar volume separately. The last wave may change during formation, because it's based on unstable, not yet completed edge of the zigzag, hence such bars are drawn in gray.

Both modes of Wave cumulative sums up volumes of bars in each wave, but Signed mode respects volume direction (cumulative sum may go up and down in the wave - this is a unique feature, it provides higher accuracy and especially useful for delta volumes), while Absolute mode always increases the sum (classic Weis wave approach).

How does the indicator work?

The indicator activates the buy and sell signal when their respective conditions are met.

For an uptrend, we need a reversal up on the EMA9 followed by prices above the ascending SMA21 making a pullback and a touch on it.

For a downtrend, we need a reversal down on the EMA9 followed by prices below the descending SMA21 making a pullback and a touch on it.

How to use it?

Enter the trade with a buy stop order one tick above the high of the candle with the buy signal, placing the stop loss order one tick below the candle's low. When there's a sell signal instead, place a sell stop order one tick below the low of the candle with the sell signal, and a stop loss one tick above the candle's high.

If the entry stop order is not filled on the next candle but the 21 period SMA maintained its direction, the signal is still valid and the indicator will confirm it. One should then reposition the entry stop order one tick above the new high for buying and one tick below the new low for selling.

If the 21 period SMA turns, the entry signal is cancelled.

If filled, the suggested target is the entry bar's amplitude projected up for the buying trade and projected down for the selling trade.

Tips:

- The ideal pullback is made by same color strong bars.

- It is best if there is no pullback inside the pullback, a fast and directional movement.

- The signal is great when the bar that touches the SMA is a reversal one (hammer/shooting star) or immediatelly followed by a reversal pattern (engulfing pattern/dark cloud cover/piercing pattern).

Notice: the signal is shown during the candle's formation to prepare you for an operation. But consider it valid only after the candle has closed.

RetracementPercent - size of price retracement (%), which changes zigzag direction (used in Retracement or Close vs Close modes only); 0 by default means special auto-adaptive retracement algorithm (see below);

NOTE. As with any other ZigZag implementation, the indicator may redraw the last edge if it's not yet completed (and tick processing is enabled). This is by design. All previous edges and up/down marks are stable.

WARNING. While using the 1-st mode, the extremums may not always hit visually most prominent candles. This happens if a higher high or a lower low occurs on a bar where new edge is already forming in opposite direction. For example, if a down arrow mark is shown on the bar A, that means that downward edge is forming on the next bars to the right of A, and hence only lows are processed there for searching extremums. High extremum should remain standing to the left of A only. As a result, if a higher high is located between the bar A and next low extremum, the high can not be marked as high extremum (because it's a section of downward edge). Auto-adaptive retracement level is calculated by the formula:

Retracement = LastExtreme ± |LastEdge| / sqrt(N + 1),

Fast AVG period - fast EMA period;

Trend period - scalar trend value period;
Noise period - scalar noise value period;
Correction - scalar correction factor;

How do I use the indicator?

The main idea behind my indicator:
the Hull Moving Average line with a period of 10-12 repeats the price movement almost without lag, while smoothing out the noise well.
Install the simple HMA(12) indicator on any instrument and any timeframe and you will see how this indicator line describes the current movement well!

The indicator draws two HMA lines on the chart - the current and the higher timeframe. HMA(12) of the current TF gives the current price movement (we can say that this is a wave of the current TF), and HMA(12) of a higher TF shows a trend (that is, it is a wave of a higher TF).

1. Open a trade when the final signal arrow appears on the HMA line of the higher TF.
2. You can open an additional deal at the 1st signal of the current TF towards the higher TF, if this entry point is at a better price.
3. Set StopLoss for the lowest point.
4. Look for a profit-taking level when the HMA of the higher TF makes 4-6 bars in this direction or move the StopLoss below the nearest fractal. You can also take profits at support/resistance levels, “round” levels, Fibonacci levels.

シグナル精度の最適化

KT Renko Patterns は複数のパターンを表示しますが、すべてが全ての銘柄に適しているとは限りません。以下の手順を実行することで、シグナルの精度を簡単に向上させることができます。

各パターンの設定が「True」になっていることを確認します。
「成功率の基準」を選択します（2つ目のTPがおすすめです）。
各パターンを1つずつオフにして、成功率の変化を確認します。
成功率が上がれば、そのパターンはオフのままでOKです。
成功率が下がった場合は再びオンに戻します。
「パターン間の最小バー数」を20～100の間で調整します。

パターン同士の間隔（バー数）を増やすことで通常は成功率が向上しますが、高すぎる値はシグナル数を大きく減少させるため、バランスの取れた設定（20～100）をおすすめします。

入力パラメータ

パターン間の最小バー数: 各パターンの間に必要な最小バー数。シグナル精度を向上させます。
反転レンガのマーク: レンコレンガの反転をチャートに表示します。
反転時のアラート: 有効にすると、各反転時にアラートを生成します。
パターン名の表示: 各シグナルにパターン名を表示します。
パフォーマンス分析: インジケーターの精度を測定し、主要なメトリクスを表示します。
成功率の基準: シグナル成功率を測定するための基準を選択します。
