Vitoria Saddi is chairman of SM Asset Management where she is the portfolio manager for their offshore funds of currencies. She is professor of economics at Insper and independent fund manager at FX Primus. In New York, she was the head person in charge of alternative assets and derivatives at the JPAAM, JP Morgan Alternative Asset Management. Previously, she was also Latin America chief economist for Roubini Global Economics and for Citibank. In Sao Paulo, she was the chief economist at Queluz Asset Management, Citibank and Salomon Brothers. She taught at the Stern Business School, New York University, California State University at Long Beach and University of Southern California. She received the BNDES award for the best master dissertation in Economics in Brazil. At the University of Southern California she received the award for outstanding teaching assistant.
