DoorDash’s Q3 2026 Earnings: What to Expect

San Francisco, California-based DoorDash, Inc. (DASH) is a technology company that operates a leading local commerce platform connecting consumers with restaurants, grocery stores, convenience retailers, and other merchants for on-demand delivery and pickup. Valued at a market cap of $80.6 billion, its offerings include the DoorDash, Wolt, and Deliveroo marketplaces, subscription services such as DashPass, advertising solutions, and merchant-focused commerce tools for online ordering and delivery fulfillment.

DASH is expected to release its Q3 2026 earnings on Wednesday, Nov. 4, after the market closes. Ahead of the event, analysts expect the company’s EPS to be $0.82 on a diluted basis, up 49.1% from $0.55 in the year-ago quarter. The company has exceeded Wall Street’s EPS estimates in only one of its last four quarters, while missing on three other occasions.

DASH stock has declined 26.3 over the past 52 weeks, underperforming the S&P 500 Index’s ($SPX) 14.4% rise and the State Street Consumer Discretionary Select Sector SPDR ETF’s (XLY) 3.1% return during the same time frame.

DoorDash has struggled to keep pace with the broader market over the past year as rising operating costs, margin pressures, and aggressive expansion spending have clouded its near-term profitability outlook. While the Deliveroo integration, higher driver compensation, and investments in new delivery technologies weigh on margins, the company is pushing beyond restaurant delivery to unlock new growth opportunities.

DoorDash is expanding into apparel with partnerships spanning Macy’s, Anthropologie, The North Face, Vans, and Timberland, offering delivery in as little as an hour. It is also preparing to launch a nationwide $7.99 item-return service in November, building on recent partnerships with Gap, Costco, Barnes & Noble, and Kohl’s.

Analysts are highly bullish on DASH, with the stock having a “Strong Buy” rating overall. Among the 40 analysts covering the stock, 31 recommend a “Strong Buy,” two recommend a “Moderate Buy,” six suggest a “Hold,” and another analyst suggests a “Strong Sell.” DASH’s average analyst price target is $260.31, indicating an upside of 40% from the current levels.
