Galiano Gold Secures Lease Extensions to Support Asanko Mine Growth

Galiano Gold Inc. GAU announced that it secured the extension of the Abirem and Miradani Mining Leases at the Asanko Gold Mine in Ghana. This move will provide Galiano Gold a solid foundation for continued investment and operational certainty.

The approval extends the Abirem Mining Lease for an additional 15 years, remaining active until 2041. The Miradani Mining Lease has been extended for 17 years through 2043. Together, these leases include the Nkran, Adubiaso and Miradani North deposits, along with Asanko Gold Mine’s 5.8-million-ton-per-annum processing facility. It also includes Nkran Cut 3, which is a major component of the mine's long-term mine plan. Along with providing a solid foundation for Mineral Reserve growth, the approval will support the execution of Galiano Gold’s current life-of-mine plan.
