In this indicator, the terminator can be a moving average calculated from the base calculated line specified in the UsedLine parameter. Accordingly, the divergence is calculated as the difference in the deviation of adjacent unidirectional peaks from the terminator line.

The signals of this indicator are divergence signals. This is not necessarily a reversal, but definitely a weakening of the trend. With other positive conditions, it is worth entering the market using this indicator when the terminator line is broken by a divergent wave, expecting a long trend. It is also possible that the emerging divergence is not justified and the price continues to move. On the histogram, this will look like the color of the divergence, replaced by the color of a simple movement. In this case, the price movement will continue at least one more wave (as a rule).

The divergence colors correspond to the intuitive: blue - looking for purchases, red - sales.

Note: the next divergence cancels the previous one!

In my opinion, the indicator demonstrates the best results with default settings, but you can find parameters more suitable for you.

We do we need it? Looking through the operation results of my favorite Expert Advisor in the strategy tester I noticed that most deals it opened during the Asian session were unprofitable. Comparing these problems, I had come to a decision to start doing something, so I started developing an indicator that would solve all these problems. That is how the GoodTime indicator appeared.

highlights any time periods, for example, sessions;

I recommend attaching the indicator Actual tick footprint (volume chart) to М1 or М5 chart and the selecting the best scale. It will allow taking optimal decisions when scalping and when searching for an optimal entry to the market on a longer period.

\r\n

To understand the behavior of participants of the market and to interpret the volumes, I recommend using this indicator together with my other development – the product Actual depth of market chart which displays the market depth histogram.

\r\n

The parameters of the indicator allow setting up the chart appearance:

\r\n

Ticks on chart – number of last displayed deals.
Scale in pips – height of the vertical scale in points. You should adjust the value considering the current volatility.
Color volume buy – color of a buy deal marker.
Color volume sell – color of a sell deal marker.
Color label – color of a volume caption on a deal marker.

Pay attention to the following features:

The indicator will not work in the strategy tester, only on a real market. You can see how it works on the video.
The indicator will work only on the instruments with real volumes of deals available. First of all, it will be interesting for trades on the FORTS market and other stock markets accessible through MetaTrader 5.

Para encontrar padrões menores, diminua o parâmetro de amplitude. Você pode carregar o indicador várias vezes no gráfico para encontrar padrões sobrepostos de tamanhos diferentes.
Período de breakout - período de breakout donchiano para confirmar as ondas de wolfe. Zero significa não utilizado.
Barras máximas do histórico - quantidade de barras anteriores para avaliar quando o indicador é carregado no gráfico.
Exibir estatísticas - mostre ou oculte o painel de estatísticas e os dados de desempenho.
Exibir níveis de SL / TP - Exiba ou oculte níveis adequados de SL e TP para cada sinal.

While filling in Instruments, please, make sure you enter existing symbols. If Instruments parameter contains a symbol missing in Market Watch, the indicator tries to add it automatically for you. If the symbol is misspelled or unavailable on your server, an error occurs - you'll see the message \"Errors! Check the log\" on the chart. All details about errors and warning are logged in the Experts log.

When number of Instruments is greater than 8, all of them participate in calculations and affect chart lines, but only first 8 are displayed. Though it's feasible to have more than 8 lines, it would produce difficulties with perception. Moreover, each next instrument added to the cluster affects the whole picture less.

Please, be patient. The indicator calculates a bunch of moving averages for every symbol, for different time frames. When it's placed on a chart first time, the process may take a while, usually this means some data has being still downloading and calculating. All necessary refreshes take place automatically. You should interfere only if you see the above mentioned error message in the chart.

Green bar is for up motion, red one - for down motion, and the yellow one means no trend. Signal line is the value of the histogram (you can enable divergence search).
Trend channel: upper border, lower border and the center of the channel (middle line). Color of the middle line shows the slope of the channel, and the channel width shows the volatility.

Trading

Buy: signal line have crossed the lower border of the channel, the histogram shows the beginning of upward motion. The line is either yellow (channel is horizontal) or green (the channel is directed upwards). It is recommended to move the position to breakeven when reaching the middle of the channel. Close positions when conditions for selling are formed.
Sell: signal line have crossed the upper border of the channel, the histogram shows the beginning of downward motion. The line is either yellow (channel is horizontal) or red (the channel is directed downwards). It is recommended to move the position to breakeven when reaching the middle of the channel. Close positions when conditions for buying are formed.

You can also use divergence for entering deals. If a divergence signal is received after the signal line crossed the channel border, you can enter in the direction of the opposite border of the channel without waiting for confirmation from the histogram. It is not recommended to enter a trade at low volatility of the market (when the channel is narrow). It is not recommended to sell when the channel is directed upwards (the middle line is green). It is not recommended to buy when the channel is directed downwards (the middle line is red).

The histogram represents a graph of changes of the regression line slope. The channel is the standard deviation from the average slope of the regression line.

Each period's Money Flow\r\n Volume depends on the Money Flow Multiplier. This multiplier is positive when\r\n the close is in the upper half of the period's high-low range and negative\r\n when the close is in the lower half. The multiplier equals 1 when the close equals\r\n the high and -1 when the close equals the low. In this way, the multiplier\r\n adjusts the amount of volume that ends up in Money Flow Volume. Volume in effect is reduced unless the Money Flow Multiplier is at its extremes (+1 or -1).

Signals

\r\n

CMF provides three types of typical signals:

\r\n

Values above zero indicate accumulation line. Values below zero indicate distribution one (see indicator A/D).
The time that the indicator is in one of those positions.
The value reached above or below the zero line.

Chaikin recommended n=21 and stated that ...

\r\n

Readings between 0 and 0.10 (-0.10) indicate\r\n uptrend (bearish) weak.

Warning System

The user defines a level, for example 0.1. The indicator alerts\r\n you with a warning message on the screen when this value is exceeded. The user\r\n can also choose an e-mail or SMS whenever MetaTrader 5 is set.

Application

\r\n

Chaikin Money Flow can be used to define a general buying or\r\n selling bias simply with positive or negative values. The indicator oscillates\r\n above/below the zero line. Generally, buying pressure is stronger when the\r\n indicator is positive and selling pressure is strong when the indicator is\r\n negative.

\r\n

While this zero line cross seems simple enough, the reality is\r\nmuch choppier. Chaikin Money Flow sometimes only briefly crosses the zero line\r\nwith a move that turns the indicator barely positive or negative. There is no\r\nfollow through and this zero line cross ends up becoming a whipsaw (bad\r\nsignal). Chartists can filter these signals with buffers by setting the bullish\r\nthreshold a little above zero (+.05) and the bearish threshold a little below\r\nzero (-.05). These thresholds will not entirely eliminate bad signals, but can\r\nhelp reduce whipsaws and filter out weaker signals.
