independent trader and researcher. I have been in forex trading field for 12 years.
I am very skillful on MQL programming. It is a tool that helps a lot on research and development. However,
it is not a must. I used to help others making EAs and indicators till I found a good EA will take too
much time and energy. EA development is not suitable for people with limited budget; on the other
hand, it is not guaranteed for people with abundant budget!
My favorite instrument is XAUUSD, recently I give part of my attention to SPX500. I run my EA on an
ECS (Elastic Compute Service), which outputs the signal I show on MQL5.com. I also do some manual
trading, but not much.
When doing technical analysis, I take trend, wave, resistance/support into consideration. So I have
trend lines, MAs, MACD, stoch and pivots on my chart. Many of my trades are trying to catch an existing
trend or an emerging trend when the chart pattern seems confusing and to-be-revealed. We have to
see before others see to win in battles.
I spend a lot of time on programming to test or verify my tons of ideas. I got a lot of ideas when I am
reviewing charts. I also read books and posts on trading, as many experiences, philosophies, and secrets
were told there.
