Rowe Price Group shares fell 6.3% on Jul. 31 as net revenue of $1.91 billion missed the consensus and net client outflows remained substantial at $6.5 billion. Investor concerns were reinforced by the decline in the effective investment advisory fee rate to 38.2 bps and adjusted operating expenses rose to $1.20 billion despite record AUM of $1.89 trillion (10.7%).
For the fiscal year ending in December 2026, analysts expect T. Rowe Price Group’s adjusted EPS to grow 4.2% year-over-year to $10.13. The company’s earnings surprise history is mixed. It beat the consensus estimates in three of the last four quarters while missing on another occasion.
Among the 14 analysts covering the stock, the consensus rating is a “Moderate Sell.” That’s based on nine “Hold” ratings, one “Moderate Sell,” and four “Strong Sells.”
