The company offers a broad portfolio that includes express and freight transportation, logistics and supply chain solutions, digital and printing services, and comprehensive business support offerings.
Shares of the Memphis, Tennessee-based company have outperformed the broader market over the past 52 weeks. FDX stock has climbed 81.5% over this time frame, while the broader S&P 500 Index ($SPX) has rallied nearly 20%. Moreover, shares of the company are up 42.8% on a YTD basis, compared to SPX’s 12.1% gain.

Focusing more closely, shares of FedEx have outpaced the State Street Industrial Select Sector SPDR ETF’s (XLI) 19.2% return over the past 52 weeks.
Despite reporting better-than-expected Q4 2026 adjusted EPS of $6.31 and revenue rising 12.6% to $25 billion on Jun. 23, FedEx shares fell marginally the next day as investors focused on margin pressure in its core Federal Express business. The segment’s operating margin declined to 7.7% from 8.4% a year earlier, hurt by higher employee compensation and benefits, outsourced transportation and fuel costs, while tariffs and the end of duty-free de minimis shipments also weighed on delivery volumes.
For the fiscal year ending in December 2026, analysts expect FedEx’s EPS to decline 13% year-over-year to $17.60.
Among the 28 analysts covering the stock, the consensus rating is a “Moderate Buy.” That’s based on 18 “Strong Buy” ratings, two “Moderate Buys,” seven “Holds,” and one “Moderate Sell.”
This configuration is more bullish than three months ago, with 16 “Strong Buy” ratings on the stock.
On Jun. 25, Truist cut its price target for FedEx to $365 while maintaining a “Buy” rating.
The mean price target of $355.17 represents a premium of 7.5% to FDX's current price. The Street-high price target of $479 suggests a 45% potential upside.
