What to Expect From GE Aerospace's Q3 2026 Earnings Report

With a market cap of $329.8 billion, GE Aerospace (GE) is a global aerospace company that designs and manufactures commercial and defense aircraft engines, integrated engine components, electric power systems, and aviation technologies. It operates through its Commercial Engines & Services and Defense & Propulsion Technologies segments, serving customers across the United States, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and the Americas.

The Evendale, Ohio-based company is expected to unveil its fiscal Q3 2026 results before the market opens on Tuesday, Oct. 20. GE Aerospace's shares have risen 4.5% over the past 52 weeks, underperforming the S&P 500 Index's ($SPX) 15.1% gain and the State Street Industrial Select Sector SPDR ETF's (XLI) 8.9% return over the same period.

Shares of GE Aerospace fell 4.1% on Jul. 16 due to concerns over persistent civil-engine supply constraints into 2027 that limit output fulfillment. Sentiment was also tempered by geopolitical risks, as the ongoing war in Iran pushed up fuel prices and led airlines to trim flight schedules, threatening potential demand destruction if higher passenger fares are required. These macro headwinds overshadowed stronger-than-expected Q2 2026 adjusted EPS of $2.02, raised its full-year 2026 adjusted EPS guidance to $7.65 - $7.85, and boosted free-cash-flow forecasts to $8.9 billion - $9.2 billion.

Analysts' consensus rating on GE stock is bullish, with a "Strong Buy" rating overall. Out of 22 analysts covering the stock, opinions include 16 "Strong Buys," two "Moderate Buys," three "Holds," and one "Strong Sell." This configuration is slightly less bullish than three months ago, with 17 analysts suggesting a "Strong Buy."

The average analyst price target for GE Aerospace is $394.14, suggesting a potential upside of 25.5% from current levels.
