Revvity Earnings Preview: What to Expect

Revvity, Inc. (RVTY), headquartered in Waltham, Massachusetts, is a leading provider of health sciences solutions, technologies, and diagnostic services. Valued at $17.6 billion by market cap, the company focuses on translational multi-omics technologies, biomarker identification, imaging, prediction, screening, detection, diagnosis, informatics, and other areas. The leading research and diagnostic firm is expected to announce its fiscal third-quarter earnings for 2026 before the market opens on Tuesday, Nov. 3.

Ahead of the event, analysts expect Revvity to report a profit of $1.28 per share on a diluted basis, up 8.5% from $1.18 per share in the year-ago quarter. The company has consistently surpassed Wall Street’s EPS estimates in its last four quarterly reports.

For the full year, analysts expect Revvity to report EPS of $5.36, up 5.9% from $5.06 in fiscal 2025. Its EPS is expected to rise 9.9% year over year to $5.89 in fiscal 2027.

RVTY stock has outperformed the S&P 500 Index’s ($SPX) 16% gains over the past 52 weeks, with shares up 64.2% during this period. Similarly, it outperformed the State Street Health Care Select Sector SPDR ETF’s (XLV) 15.9% gains over the same time frame.

RVTY outperformed on Diagnostics strength and accelerating AI-driven demand in Life Sciences. Diagnostics was led by reproductive health and ex-China immunodiagnostics, with newborn screening resilient despite lower birth rates. Management noted improving pharma and biotech spending and strong orders from AI customers building large datasets. The Opera Phenix OptIQ screener saw strong growth, with orders outpacing capacity and lifting backlog, which should drive future reagent demand. The company exited its China immunodiagnostics business and is reinvesting tariff refunds into capacity and innovation, with guidance raised on better end-markets and AI adoption.

Analysts’ consensus opinion on RVTY stock is moderately bullish, with a “Moderate Buy” rating overall. Out of 19 analysts covering the stock, six advise a “Strong Buy” rating, and 13 give a “Hold.” While RVTY currently trades above its mean price target of $130.76, the Street-high price target of $165 suggests an upside potential of 7.6%.
