What You Need to Know Ahead of KKR’s Earnings Release

KKR & Co. Inc. (KKR), headquartered in New York, is a global investment firm that manages alternative assets across private equity, credit, infrastructure, and real estate, with a market capitalization of approximately $82 billion. The company also provides capital markets solutions and operates Global Atlantic, its insurance business, serving institutional and individual clients worldwide.

KKR is set to report its Q3 earnings on Monday, Nov. 9, 2026, before the market opens. Ahead of the release, analysts expect the company to report diluted EPS of $1.41, up 15.6% from $1.22 in the year-ago quarter. Moreover, KKR has exceeded Wall Street’s EPS estimates in three of the past four quarters.

KKR stock has declined 24.4% over the past 52 weeks, significantly underperforming both the S&P 500 Index ($SPX), which gained 13%, and the State Street Financial Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLF), which advanced 5.5% over the same period.

KKR has significantly underperformed the broader market over the past year, with its share price weakness appearing to reflect investor concerns more than deteriorating business performance. Higher interest rates, unrealized private equity investments, and fears that AI could disrupt software-focused portfolios have weighed on alternative asset managers.

On October 22, KKR agreed to acquire IEP Technologies and Newson Gale, providers of industrial explosion protection and static control solutions, from HOERBIGER. The acquisition, made through KKR’s Global Impact Strategy, offers opportunities to expand the businesses and support their future growth, including through an employee ownership program. The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2027, subject to customary conditions, with financial terms undisclosed. Following the announcement, KKR shares rose 3.6% that day.

Analysts remain bullish on KKR, with the stock carrying a consensus “Strong Buy” rating. Of the 22 analysts covering the stock, 14 recommend a “Strong Buy,” three assign a “Moderate Buy,” and five recommend a “Hold.” Meanwhile, the average analyst price target of $120.74 implies potential upside of 31.8% from the current share price.
