Others (MODE_ONLY_OTHERS):

When pressed, the dashboard will show all trades that are NOT in your \"Listed\" list. This is extremely useful for seeing the performance of:

Default Inputs: InsideBarLookback = 100, ArrowOffset = 10 points, UseClosedBars = true.
Timeframes: Best on M15 → H4 for most FX pairs and indices. H1/H4 give cleaner structural signals with fewer false positives. M5/M15 can be used for higher frequency but expect more noise.
Symbols: FX majors, indices, and liquid CFDs. For exotic pairs or low-liquidity symbols, test longer lookback and larger SL buffers.
Risk advice: Use the indicator as a signal filter, not a money-management system. Combine with proper SL/TP and position sizing. We recommend demo testing and journaling before live use.

How to read the arrows (quick guide)

Bullish Breakout — price closed above the mother bar high → consider long on confirmation.
Bearish Breakout — price closed below the mother bar low → consider short on confirmation.
Bullish Reversal — price closed above a previous bearish arrow level → structural flip to the upside.
Bearish Reversal — price closed below a previous bullish arrow level → structural flip to the downside.
Bullish Continuation / Bearish Continuation — price resumes direction after a reversal/confirmation, useful for trend-followers.

Arrows are plotted on the closed bar (by default), so you can safely place orders on the next bar without repainting concerns.

Imagine markets as a tug-of-war between two forces: buyers (bulls) and sellers (bears). The daily high price shows the maximum power buyers achieved, and the daily low shows the maximum power sellers achieved. But how do we know if these prices are actually strong? Dr. Elder solved this by comparing highs and lows against a 13-period Exponential Moving Average (EMA)—which represents the market's consensus of fair value. Here's the simple formula:

Bull Power = Daily High − 13-period EMA

Repainting Mode
When repainting is enabled, the indicator uses a real-time Nadaraya-Watson estimator that updates continuously. While this can produce smoother envelopes, the historical output may shift.
Despite this, the triangle reversal markers always appear at the moment the cross occurs and remain locked in place, ensuring they are useful for real-time decision making.

Price moves beyond the upper or lower envelope often suggest potential mean-reversion opportunities. Crossings of the envelope boundaries generate the built-in reversal markers and can be used in alert conditions for signal automation.

Strategy 1: The Liquidity Sweep (Turtle Soup)

This is the primary strategy for this indicator.

Identify an Active Zone: Look for a solid Blue (Resistance) or Green (Support) zone extending to the current price.
Wait for the \"Grab\": Do not enter immediately when price touches the line. Wait for price to pierce the level.
The Entry Signal: Watch for the \"Grab Marker\" (Red icon) to appear. This indicates price broke the level (taking stop losses) but might be rejecting.
Confirmation: Enter a trade against the break if the candle closes back inside the range or leaves a long wick.
- Example: Price shoots up through a Blue Zone, the Grab Marker appears, and the candle closes leaving a long upper wick. Sell.

Strategy 2: The Rejection (Respect)

Look for a fresh, high-volume zone that has not yet been tested.
As price approaches the zone slow down (smaller candles).
Enter on a reversal candlestick pattern (Engulfing, Pinbar) that touches the zone without triggering the \"Grabbed\" status.

Strategy 3: Breakout & Retest

Usage

Adaptive RSI is a better indicator for over bought/sold strategies because it is more sensitive to market condition change than conventional RSI. The levels should better be 80 and 20 rather than 70/30. I personally don't recommend to use Adaptive RSI as the only indicator for entry/exit. It should be used together with other indicators or price action. For example, we may determine the current market trend with EMA, and only buy at over sold in a bullish market and only sell at over bought in a bearish market. Funktionsprinzip

Verwendungsmerkmale

Der Indikator funktioniert auf allen Finanzinstrumenten: Währungspaare, Metalle, Indizes, Kryptowährungen, Aktien. Es wird empfohlen, ihn auf Instrumenten mit ausreichender Liquidität und geringem Spread zu verwenden.

Für Scalping und Intraday-Trading ist es besser, niedrigere Zeitrahmen M1-M5 mit aktiviertem Price Crossover-Modus zu verwenden. Für Positions-Trading werden Zeitrahmen M15-H1 mit aktiviertem Trend Filter empfohlen.

IncludeIncompleteBar - default is false, which causes the indicator does not use the latest bar to calculate the chart. Setting it to true will cause the indicator use the latest bar, which will cause extra columns.
UpColor - color for Xs.
DownColor - color for Os.

After the indicator is placed on the chart, the indicator will show Xs and Os for the chart.

Core Features

1. Clean Session Range Visualization

Draws session boxes (rectangles) for:
- Asia, London, New York
Each session has:
- Configurable start & end times (by broker server time)
- Independent on/off toggle
- Custom colors
- Custom session names (rename or repurpose sessions as you like)
Optional session high/low levels:
- Horizontal levels extended to the right for X bars
- Ideal for breakout, retest and liquidity-based strategies

You instantly see how price behaved in each session: did it expand, consolidate, fake out, or set up the day’s main trend?

2. ADR (Average Daily Range) Engine

Session Range Pro includes a built-in ADR calculator:

ADRPeriod – number of completed days used for ADR (e.g. 20 days)
Uses D1 data from your broker to calculate:
- ADR (in pips) – average high–low range of recent days
- Today’s current daily range
- Today’s range as % of ADR

On the stats panel, you’ll see something like:

ADR(20): 83.5 pips | Today: 62.3 (75%)

3. Session Statistics & Volatility Profile

For each session (Asia / London / New York), Session Range Pro computes historical statistics over a configurable lookback:

Average session range (pips)
Minimum & maximum session range
Standard deviation of session range (volatility spread)
Directional bias – how often the session closes above vs below its open

This gives you a quantified view of:

Which session typically drives most of the move
Which session tends to be quieter or more explosive
Whether a session is usually bullish, bearish or neutral for your symbol

4. Built-In Breakout Model & Win Rate

Session Range Pro includes a simple, transparent breakout model and calculates the historical win rate of that model for each session.

User inputs:

BreakoutBufferPips – how many pips beyond the session high/low counts as a true breakout
TargetRR – reward:risk multiple (e.g. 1.0R, 1.5R, 2.0R)
UseCloseAfterSession – whether breakout evaluation starts after the session ends

Logic per completed session:

Compute SessionHigh, SessionLow, SessionRange
Long breakout:
- Entry above SessionHigh + buffer
- SL at SessionLow
- TP at Entry + SessionRange * TargetRR
Short breakout:
- Entry below SessionLow – buffer
- SL at SessionHigh
- TP at Entry – SessionRange * TargetRR
Evaluated over the rest of that trading day:
- TP hit before SL → Win
- SL hit before TP → Loss
- If neither is hit before end of day → ignored
- If both TP and SL fall inside the same bar → ignored as ambiguous

For each session you get:

Total number of executed breakout trades (wins + losses)
Number of wins and losses
Win rate %
Average R-multiple per trade (optional aggregated stat)

This is not an auto-trading system; it’s an analytics tool that answers:

“If I traded simple breakouts of this session over the last X days, how would that have performed?”

On-Chart Stats Panel

Session Range Pro displays a compact, readable on-chart panel in the main window:

Symbol name & current timeframe
ADR settings & values
For each session (row per session):
- Session name
- AvgR – average session range in pips
- TodayR – today’s session range (once completed)
- Win% (trades) – breakout win rate and number of trades

Win rate is color-coded:

Green – high win rate (e.g. > 60%)
Yellow – moderate (40–60%)
Red – low (< 40%)

Panel customization via inputs:

Corner (top-left, top-right, etc.)
X / Y offsets
Background & text colors
Font name & size

Performance & Reliability

Works on any symbol: forex, indices, metals, crypto, CFDs.
Works on any timeframe (M1–MN); calculations use a configurable intraday timeframe (default M15).
Non-repainting:
- ADR uses only completed days.
- Breakout statistics use only data visible after each session completes.
Optimized to recalculate on new bars, not every tick, to keep the platform responsive.
