Kenvue shares fell 2.5% on Aug. 6 after the consumer-health company reported weaker-than-expected Q2 2026 adjusted EPS of $0.31 and sales of $3.96 billion. Margins came under pressure as inflation, tariffs, and currency-related costs outweighed some benefits from supply-chain savings and higher prices, with the adjusted gross margin declining to 60.2% from 60.9% a year earlier.

Investor concerns were further compounded by the company’s expected $250 million in pretax restructuring charges in 2026, aimed at simplifying operations and reducing costs, as Kenvue navigates its pending $40 billion acquisition by Kimberly-Clark, which is expected to close in Q4 2026.

Analysts' consensus rating on KVUE stock is cautious, with a "Hold" rating overall. Among 13 analysts covering the stock, one recommends a "Strong Buy" and 12 give a "Hold" rating. The average analyst price target is $19.17, indicating a potential upside of 2.7% from the current levels.
