Today's Featured Research Reports

Welltower’s shares have outperformed the Zacks REIT and Equity Trust - Other industry over the year-to-date period (+26.9% vs. +12.7%). The company benefits from aging demographics, limited senior housing supply and continued occupancy and rate gains. Its Welltower Business System supports margin expansion, while data-led acquisitions and a shift toward seniors housing expand the growth runway.

Management raised 2026 normalized FFO guidance as SHO NOI growth exceeded 20% for a 16th consecutive quarter. Low leverage, available liquidity and varied funding sources support further investment and the dividend.

However, rapid acquisitions, integration needs and portfolio sales increase execution demands. Competition and operator concentration expose cash flows to local disruptions, while higher interest expense and macroeconomic uncertainty may constrain returns. The Neutral view balances favorable demand and operating prospects against financing and deployment risks.

Shares of T-Mobile have underperformed the Zacks Wireless National industry over the year-to-date period (-26.3% vs. +119.1%). The company’s mature wireless market requires sustained promotional spending to defend market share. High network and spectrum costs may weigh on cash flow. Higher account churn and the costs of premium devices may constrain profitability. Integration of acquired assets adds complexity, while substantial debt limits financial flexibility.

Nevertheless, T-Mobile reported strong third-quarter 2026 results, with both top and bottom lines surpassing the Zacks Consensus Estimate. Its network quality and spectrum assets support customer gains across wireless and broadband.

Higher postpaid revenue per account reflects premium plan adoption and deeper customer relationships. Enterprise demand, fixed wireless services and fiber partnerships offer room for further expansion. Rising service revenues and cash generation support continued dividends and buybacks.

Starbucks’ shares have outperformed the Zacks Retail - Restaurants industry over the year-to-date period (+27.6% vs. -3.7%). The company reported mixed fourth-quarter fiscal 2026 results, with adjusted earnings beating the Zacks Consensus Estimate by 9.6% but net revenues missing the mark by 1.4%. Starbucks is seeing broader customer traffic, healthier store execution and sales growth under Back to Starbucks.

Green Apron Service, loyalty engagement and menu innovation are supporting repeat visits, while coffeehouse upgrades add room for growth. An increasingly licensed international business and tighter cost control support margin recovery. Shares have outperformed the industry year to date.

However, the China transition continues to reduce reported revenue and complicate comparisons. North American openings remain restrained as the development pipeline is rebuilt. Labor needs, product costs and technology investments also leave profitability dependent on execution.
