Sonar de Fibonacci

El sonar de Fibonacci tiene una biblioteca interna de patrones de acción de precios recopilados a partir de 28 símbolos y 7 marcos temporales.

Cada patrón se divide en 2 lados. El lado anterior y el lado posterior. El sonar de Fibonacci usa el lado anterior para reconocer patrones similares. La acción de precio más reciente (en cualquier momento) hasta el precio de apertura de la barra más nueva es lo que se usa como lado anterior para buscar en la biblioteca.

El lado posterior contiene un agregado de toda la actividad que ha visto cada patrón. Aquí es donde entra en juego el término de Fibonacci. A partir de la apertura de todas las instancias de cada patrón en el pasado, hemos implementado niveles de precio por encima y por debajo del precio de apertura en una secuencia de Fibonacci. Luego medimos cuántas veces se alcanzó un nivel de precio. Si divide la cantidad de veces que se alcanzó un nivel de precio por la cantidad de instancias que existen para un patrón de precio individual, puede extraerlo como un porcentaje (%)

Naturalmente, para cada patrón, puede imaginar que hay un porcentaje en el precio de Fibonacci superior y en el precio de Fibonacci inferior. Esto permite un método que encuentra un precio dado un valor porcentual. Por ejemplo, con este método podemos pedir un nivel que se alcance el 50% del tiempo y el método devolverá un nivel de precio.

Estos niveles son los que se ven en el gráfico. Aunque se crean a partir de rangos de precios de Fibonacci que se combinan con su probabilidad de ocurrencia, no se encuentran a distancias de Fibonacci desde la apertura de cada patrón.

Los porcentajes de ocurrencia predeterminados para estos niveles son:

Hay 5 de ellos por encima del precio de apertura y 5 por debajo. Los niveles no son simétricos en torno al precio de apertura. El nivel 75% por encima puede estar más cerca que el nivel 75% por debajo y viceversa. Los niveles 0%, 10% y 33% se agregaron para ser considerados como stop loss para sus operaciones existentes.

También notará que las líneas terminan en ciertos momentos y no continúan eternamente. Esto ocurre simplemente porque cada patrón tenía un número limitado de velas dentro de las cuales se le permitía agregar sus resultados secundarios posteriores.

Si se encuentra un nuevo patrón y existe un patrón anterior, entonces los niveles del nuevo patrón sobrescriben al anterior. También notará que algunas líneas terminan abruptamente y aparecen otras nuevas.

Pero, ¿qué pasa con los números que se encuentran junto a cada nivel?

Estos números, del 1 al 10, representan el orden habitual en el que se muestra cada nivel. No los considere una secuencia, sino que cuanto más bajo sea el número que se encuentra junto a un nivel de precio, antes se alcanzará. Por lo tanto, si cree que el precio subirá (según su estrategia), pero el nivel con orden 1 está por debajo de la apertura del patrón y el primer nivel por encima de la apertura tiene un 3, entonces ese es el nivel más probable que se alcanzará por encima de la apertura, pero el sonar le indica que, por lo general, los niveles 1 y 2 se alcanzan primero.

While the original Wilder algorithm leaves the ACC factor constant we are instead reducing the ACC factor using a smooth function to start increasingly tighten the StopLoss towards our set max RR.

However, this approach has a major drawback: I can always SEE the future candles in advance, which affects my predictions. For example, on the daily chart, my strategy may suggest that the next day's candle will be bullish, but I can already see that it is actually bearish. 😅

Due to these limitations, I developed this indicator to provide a more effective and FAIR method for manually backtesting strategies.

How It Works

My indicator operates using MT5’s draw_candle feature. Specifically, it only displays candles up to the selected backtesting point, while future candles are hidden by coloring them the same as the background. Users can then reveal candles one by one using the provided buttons. This approach allows me to conduct manual backtesting more accurately.

Key Features

Jump to any point in time for backtesting: The indicator provides a vertical bar that you can drag to any position. Then, simply click the \"Set History\" button to start testing.
Multi-timeframe backtesting: When you set the history on the 1D chart, all other timeframes will automatically sync accordingly.
Save your testing position: If you close MT5 and reopen it the next day, the indicator will retain the last tested position so you can continue where you left off.
Log the backtesting process (this feature is currently in development).

Important Notes Before Purchasing

You cannot use MT’s built-in backtest tool to test this indicator. If you're interested, feel free to message me—I can provide a demo version with a time limit.
This tool is designed for manual strategy testing and does not replace MT’s automated backtest tool.
Since the indicator uses draw_candle to redraw candles, it cannot be used alongside other indicators that draw or color candles.

The basics

The Supertrend is a trend-following indicator. It is overlaid on the main chart and their plots indicate the current trend. A Supertrend can be used with varying periods (daily, weekly, intraday etc.) and on varying instruments (stocks, futures or forex).

The Supertrend has several inputs that you can adjust to match your trading strategy. Adjusting these settings allows you to make the indicator more or less sensitive to price changes.

For the Supertrend inputs, you can adjust atrLength and multiplier:

the atrLength setting is the lookback length for the ATR calculation;
multiplier is what the ATR is multiplied by to offset the bands from price.

What to look for

When the price falls below the indicator curve, it turns red and indicates a downtrend. Conversely, when the price rises above the curve, the indicator turns green and indicates an uptrend. After each close above or below Supertrend, a new trend appears.

Summary

The Supertrend helps you make the right trading decisions. However, there are times when it generates false signals. Therefore, it is best to use the right combination of several indicators. Like any other indicator, Supertrend works best when used with other indicators such as MACD, Parabolic SAR, or RSI.

And vice versa, will be less sensitive when it is longer. As the period increases it will become less sensitive to little trends and price actions. In this way, your choice of period, will be closely related to which of the sort of trends you are interested in. We are under the effect of the uptrend in cases where the Moving Average is above PMax; conversely under the influence of a downward trend, when the Moving Average is below PMax.

Built in Moving Average type defaultly set as EMA but users can choose from 8 different Moving Average types like: SMA : Simple Moving Average EMA : Exponential Moving Average WMA : Weighted Moving Average TMA : Triangular Moving Average VAR : Variable Index Dynamic Average aka VIDYA WWMA : Welles Wilder's Moving Average ZLEMA : Zero Lag Exponential Moving Average TSF : True Strength Force Tip: In sideways VAR would be a good choice

The indicator can be attached to as many charts as are open on the trading platform. 7. TREND LINE TYPES

Two types of trend lines are available based on the selected chart type. When using candlesticks or bar charts, the trend line will switch to price high/low mode automatically. When using line charts, the trendline will switch to close mode without additional action required.

8. PLACING TWO OPPOSITE TRENDLINES FOR ONE TIMEFRAME SIMULTANEOUSELY
