I typically use 200; but you could make this value something\r\nlike 252 (# of trading days in a year) or 120 (# of trading hours\r\nwithin a week). Add multiple versions of this indicator to the same\r\nchart, varying this number, to get a sense of what it does. The\r\nlarger the number, the more calculations are necessary. If speed is a\r\nconcern, like on an M5 chart, try changing this to 100. Lesser\r\nvalues, like 50, work—but the resulting bands are very different\r\nfrom the MT5 Envelopes indicator.

Tuning Method – This\r\nspecifies if close or high/low prices are used to determine the\r\npercent of bars that poke through the bands.

Percent Bars Outside –\r\nSpecifies was percent of bars poke through the upper and lower bands\r\nbased upon the Tuning Method. Obviously, High/Low will have slightly\r\nwider bands than Close. I typically use 5% for this.

Rejection at Bottom (Bullish)

Conditions:

✅ (low[i] ≤ Bottom OR low[i+1] ≤ Bottom)

Why check both candles? Two consecutive failures = stronger confirmation than single candle rejection.

Entry & Exit Strategies

Entry Methods

1. Breakout Entry

LONG: Enter when candle closes above Top, or wait for pullback to Buy Trigger
SHORT: Enter when candle closes below Bottom, or wait for pullback to Sell Trigger

2. Rejection Entry

Aggressive: Enter at next candle after rejection arrow appears
Conservative: Wait for confirmation candle that breaks high/low of rejection candle

3. Multi-Timeframe Confirmation (Highest probability)

Required conditions:

✅ Current timeframe shows valid signal
✅ MTF shows SAME direction trend (or neutral)
✅ EMA confirms direction (if enabled)

Exit Methods

1. Trigger Break (Primary Exit)

LONG: Exit when price closes BELOW Buy Trigger
SHORT: Exit when price closes ABOVE Sell Trigger
Why: 30% retracement indicates weakening trend

2. Opposite Signal

Exit LONG when Rejection at Top appears (Purple arrow)
Exit SHORT when Rejection at Bottom appears (Aqua arrow)

3. Take Profit Targets

Based on Range (H1):

Conservative: 1.0 × H1
Moderate: 1.5 × H1
Aggressive: 2.0 × H1

Scale-out Strategy: Close 1/3 at each target level

Using the indicator in trading

\r\nThe first method of trading is based on breaking through one of the borders of the channel.

For example, if the price moved up, then when it is reversed (i.e., when touching the lower boundary of the channel), you should perform \r\na sale (Sell). Next, you should remain in a short position until the price turns up (i.e. until the price touches the upper border of the \r\nchannel).

It should be noted that implementing such a trading strategy is quite simple. The indicator measures difference between Heikin Ashi close and open.

¿Qué es el Relative Vigor Index (RVI)?

El Relative Vigor Index (RVI) es un oscilador de momentum desarrollado por John Ehlers que mide la convicción de un movimiento de precio reciente comparando el precio de cierre relativo a la apertura, normalizado por el rango de negociación. El principio subyacente es que en un mercado alcista, los precios de cierre tienden a ser más altos que los de apertura, mientras que en un mercado bajista ocurre lo contrario.

El RVI oscila alrededor de una línea cero: los valores positivos indican momentum alcista, mientras que los valores negativos indican momentum bajista. El indicador consta de dos líneas: la línea principal (valor RVI) y la línea de señal (media móvil ponderada simétricamente de 4 barras de la línea principal). Los cruces entre ambas líneas se utilizan habitualmente como señales de entrada y salida.

Indicator detects pivot points of supposed reversal trends and print text labels at the opening of signal bar.

There are 4 inputs:

Bars to left - quantity of bars for analyzing to the left of currently analyzing bar;
Bars to right - quantity of bars for analyzing to the right when and if left bars analysis found supposed pivot point;
ATR (average true range) period and multiplier are used some type of noise reducing calculations.

Labels contain direction of signal LE means long entry and SE - short entry. Also they contain price of signal pivot point.

Free version differs from commercial one by output of calculated buffers of baselines and main trade signal buffer in data window. Thus, basically it allows to use indicator in manual mode, but if you would like to incorporate it with expert advisor, say for stop loss definition or supposed take profit goals, you need commercial version.
