Investor verification priorities

  • Track commercial real estate exposure, delinquency and classified-loan trends, foreclosed assets, and whether the $1.7 million charge-off signals further losses.
  • Assess the quality and sustainability of earnings from covered-loan accretion and mortgage-loan sales, including results excluding those items and prior-year acquisition costs.
  • Review near-term certificate maturities, deposit retention, borrowing capacity, and sensitivity to interest-rate changes.
  • Monitor reserve adequacy and assumptions for acquired loans, FDIC loss-sharing reimbursements, and collateral valuations.
  • Verify the pace and price of share repurchases and their effect on capital and per-share results.
