CHD Is America's Leading Cause Of Death – Cardio Diagnostics Helps The Fight With Expanded Provider Network For Its AI-Powered Tests - Cardio Diagnostics Hldgs (NASDAQ:CDIO)

Cardio Diagnostics Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: CDIO ), an AI-powered precision cardiovascular medicine company, is expanding access to its blood tests designed to detect heart disease.

The Chicago-based company announced it recently partnered with 15 new provider organizations across the United States whose patients will have access to its Epi+Gen CHD™ and PrecisionCHD™ blood tests. Cardio Diagnostics said the new provider organizations represent various medical specialties and care models, spanning four major regions, including the South, Northeast, Midwest and West.

"This expansion reflects the strong momentum we're building in the provider community," said Meesha Dogan , Ph.D., CEO and Co-Founder of Cardio Diagnostics. "These partnerships span an impressive range of care models, from concierge and functional medicine to direct primary care, which demonstrates that providers across the healthcare spectrum recognize the value of our precision approach. By equipping these practices with our Epi+Gen CHD and PrecisionCHD tests, we're not only enhancing patient care and driving better outcomes, but we're also making Precision Cardiovascular Medicine accessible to more patients nationwide."

We're Not All The Same

Precision Cardiovascular Medicine is an approach to health care that moves away from one-size-fits-all treatments and focuses on remedies that are tailored to a person’s unique makeup, lifestyle and environment.

Cardio Diagnostics’ PrecisionCHD test is an AI-powered integrated genetic-epigenetic test to aid in the diagnosis and management of coronary heart disease (CHD). The six DNA methylation markers evaluated by the PrecisionCHD test map to modifiable drivers of CHD, including inflammation. For each patient, the PrecisionCHD test provides personalized insights into their specific molecular drivers that could help inform more targeted treatment and clinical decision-making, reports the company.

Meanwhile, Cardio Diagnostics’ Epi+Gen CHD test is designed to assess a person’s three-year risk of a CHD event, including a heart attack. The test relies on a combination of epigenetics and AI to provide a more sensitive and cost-effective way to assess risk than traditional tools, including the Framingham Risk Score (FRS) and ASCVD Risk Calculator, reports Cardio Diagnostics. Both tests are performed from a simple blood draw, enabling scalable, accessible cardiovascular assessment.

Early Detection Is The Key To Prevention

The company said that by offering these blood tests to patients, provider organizations can obtain actionable insights into coronary heart disease and heart attack risk, and help guide personalized treatment plans for their patients. Cardio Diagnostics said its solutions address the rising prevalence of cardiovascular disease across various patient demographics and care settings. According to the American Heart Association, by 2050, about six in 10 U.S. adults will have some type of heart disease. That amounts to over 184 million adults in the U.S. alone. Coronary heart disease is the leading cause of death in America, resulting in one in five deaths or about 695,000 each year.

What Cardio Diagnostics says positions it uniquely to fight heart disease is that its tests combine epigenetics, genetics and AI to provide deep insights into heart attack risk and the presence of coronary heart disease and their drivers. These tools can play a crucial role in both early detection and ongoing management across diverse patient populations and healthcare settings, reports the company. Early detection can allow for intervention, which could prevent a serious event such as a heart attack. Identification of risk and/or the disease at the early stages through tests like Cardio Diagnostics’ could slow down progression or stop CHD in its tracks.

Tools For Heart Health

For Cardio Diagnostics, the addition of 15 new partners furthers its mission to make Precision Cardiovascular Medicine more accessible. As providers across the country increasingly adopt evidence-based approaches to helping their patients maintain cardiovascular health, the company said its tests are becoming essential tools for more effective heart health management.

In the Northeast, an integrative cardiology practice in Pennsylvania, a concierge medicine practice in Maryland and concierge primary care in Delaware – all focused on comprehensive care – are using Cardio Diagnostics blood tests. In the South, two concierge medicine practices in Florida and a concierge internal medicine practice in Texas have partnered with the company. Primary care, longevity, concierge medicine and concierge medicine practices in California, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Oregon, Wisconsin and Washington are also using Cardio Diagnostics' blood tests for CHD. All of them have embraced the idea of providing customized, tailored and comprehensive healthcare to their patients, including Cardio Diagnostics' tests.

CHD is a leading cause of death in America and around the globe, and early detection is one of the most effective ways of stopping it in its tracks. By partnering with 15 new provider organizations, Cardio Diagnostics has reached another milestone in furthering access to what it believes is a game-changer in combating this deadly disease.
