Ethereum (ETH) Price Prediction: $2,400 Support Holds as Bulls Eye $2,570 and $3,000

The latest recovery has pushed Ethereum price back towards $2,446 after buyers defended the important $2,400 support region. ETH price remains trapped below the $2,530-$2,570 resistance zone, but growing whale accumulation and declining exchange supply suggest demand is building beneath the current price. Traders are now watching whether this support can produce a larger breakout or if the recent lows will be tested again first.

Ethereum Holds $2,400 as Former Resistance Turns Into Support

Ethereum continues to trade around the $2,400-$2,430 region, which has developed into one of the most important short-term support areas on the chart. Buyers have repeatedly responded around this zone, preventing the latest pullback from turning into a deeper breakdown and keeping the broader recovery structure intact.

Brave New Coin data shows ETH trading near $2,446 after recovering from the latest dip towards $2,400. Price remains above the previous breakout region in the low-$2,300s, suggesting that former resistance is still functioning as support. A decisive loss of $2,400, however, would weaken the current structure and shift attention towards the deeper $2,355 area.

MikybullCrypto's higher-timeframe chart reinforces this setup, showing Ethereum consolidating above its former resistance zone after the sharp breakout from below $2,000. The current range is broadly supported around $2,350-$2,400, while resistance remains concentrated around $2,530-$2,550. Holding the breakout base keeps the bullish structure intact, while a clean move above the upper boundary could trigger the next expansion higher.

Ethereum Price Breakout Positioned at $2,570 Level

Ethereum price remains contained within a broader four-hour channel despite several sharp moves in both directions. Price recently reached the lower boundary of the structure before beginning another recovery attempt. Famous chartist Ali Charts is watching for ETH price to rebound through the middle of the range and eventually challenge the upper boundary near $2,570. The chart places an intermediate resistance region around $2,460-$2,500 before the larger $2,530-$2,570 area comes into play.

A sustained move above $2,570 would represent an important technical shift because it would push Ethereum beyond the upper boundary that has repeatedly contained price. That could open the way towards $2,600-$2,700 and strengthen the broader recovery.

Contrary View: Lows Could Be Swept Before the Next ETH Rally

The bullish structure does not necessarily mean Ethereum price has to move straight higher from current levels. One short-term scenario suggests ETH could first sweep liquidity sitting beneath the recent equal lows before beginning another larger recovery.

Well-known analyst CryptoGodJohn highlights the $2,403 region as an important downside liquidity area. A deeper move could extend towards approximately $2,355 before buyers attempt to regain control.

If that sweep occurs, the first recovery level sits near $2,443, followed by the upper range around $2,535. A clean reclaim of those levels would strengthen the case for a larger push, with the analyst ultimately looking towards $3,000.

Ethereum On-Chain Activity Builds Near Key Support

Ethereum is showing two supportive accumulation signals around the same time. Large investors are buying near the current support region, while the amount of ETH held on centralized exchanges continues to decline, reducing the supply readily available for trading.

Onchain platform Lookonchain reported that one whale spent approximately $13 million USDC to purchase 5,368 ETH over eight hours at an average price near $2,422. That places the accumulation directly inside the broader $2,400-$2,430 support zone, suggesting meaningful demand is emerging around an important technical area.

At the same time, CryptoGoos highlighted Ethereum's exchange supply ratio falling towards approximately 0.125. The ratio has been trending lower for months, indicating that more ETH continues to move away from exchanges. Whale buying near support, combined with declining exchange reserves, does not guarantee an immediate rally, but together they point towards improving accumulation underneath the current price structure.

Medium Term Outlook: $2,570 Breakout Could Open $2,700-$3,000

The near-term Ethereum price prediction remains centered around the $2,400 support region and the $2,530-$2,570 resistance band. ETH is currently trading between these two major areas, leaving the next breakout as the main directional trigger.

Holding $2,400 keeps the current recovery structure intact. A move through $2,443-$2,460 would improve short-term momentum, while a stronger reclaim of $2,500 would put the upper range back under pressure.

The larger bullish trigger remains a confirmed breakout above $2,530-$2,570. Clearing this region could open $2,600-$2,700, followed by the psychological $3,000 target if momentum continues. On the downside, losing $2,400 would expose roughly $2,355 before another stronger support reaction becomes likely.

Looking Ahead: ETH Bullish Triggers to Watch

Ethereum price is still trading inside a range, but the technical map is becoming clearer. The first requirement is continued defense of the lower support region, followed by a sequence of reclaim levels that could gradually shift momentum back towards buyers.

Hold $2,400-$2,422: Keeps the main short-term support and whale accumulation zone intact. Reclaim $2,443-$2,460: First sign that buyers are regaining control after the recent pullback. Recover $2,500: Would bring ETH back into the upper half of the current range. Break $2,530-$2,570: Main bullish confirmation and the most important breakout area. Target $2,600-$2,700: Next technical region if ETH escapes the current range. $3,000: Larger upside target if the breakout develops into a sustained higher-timeframe expansion.

Ethereum's technical structure remains constructive while $2,400 holds. Whale accumulation and falling exchange reserves add support to that picture, but the decisive signal still needs to come from price through a clean breakout above $2,530-$2,570.
