Market Structure:

Market structure labels are constructed from price breaking a prior swing point. This allows a user to determine the current market trend based on the price action.

There are two types of Market Structure labels included:

Market Structure Shift (MSS)

Break Of Structure (BOS)

A MSS occurs when price breaks a swing low in an uptrend or a swing high in a downtrend, highlighting a potential reversal.

This is often labeled as \"CHoCH\", but ICT specifies it as MSS. On the other hand, BOS labels occur when price breaks a swing high in an uptrend or a swing low in a downtrend.

The occurrence of these particular swing points is caused by retracements (inducements) that highlights liquidity hunting in lower timeframes.

Key swing points: Higher Highs (HH) and Lower Lows (LL), Higher Lows (HL) and Lower Highs (LH)
Displacement:
Displacements are scenarios where price forms successive candles of the same sentiment (bullish/bearish) with large bodies and short shadows.

These can more technically be identified by positive auto correlation (a close to open change is more likely to be followed by a change of the same sign) as well as volatility clustering (large changes are followed by large changes).

Displacements can be the cause for the formation of imbalances as well as market structure, these can be caused by the full execution of a meta order.
Volume Imbalance:
A Volume Imbalance (V.I.) occurs when there is an area of price that has been left without a candle body. There is up-and-down movement in the overlapping of the wicks, however since the bulk of the volume is in the body of the candle, we dub this a Volume Imbalance.
Order Blocks:
An ICT (Inner Circle Trader) order block is a price area on a chart where large institutional investors place significant buy or sell orders. Order blocks are a key concept in trading, as they can help traders identify potential support and resistance levels, and anticipate price reversals.
Liquidity:
Buy-side/Sell-side liquidity levels highlight price levels where market participants might place limit/stop orders.

Buyside liquidity levels will regroup the stop-loss orders of short traders as well as limit orders of long traders, while Sell-side liquidity levels will regroup the stop-loss orders of long traders as well as limit orders of short traders.

These levels can play different roles. More informed market participants might view these levels as source of liquidity, and once liquidity over a specific level is reduced it will be found in another area.
FVG/IFVG:
Fair Value Gaps: A three candle formation where the candle shadows adjacent to the central candle do not overlap, this highlights a gap area.

Implied Fair Value Gaps: Unlike the fair value gap the implied fair value gap has candle shadows adjacent to the central candle overlapping. The gap area is constructed from the average between the respective shadow and the nearest extremity of their candle body.

Balanced Price Range: Balanced price ranges occur when a fair value gap overlaps a previous fair value gap, with the overlapping area resulting in the imbalance area.
NWOG/NDOG:
This indicator reveals the new week opening gaps (NWOG) and new day opening gaps (NDOG). The NWOG is the gap between Friday's closing price and Sunday's opening price. The NDOG is the gap between the opening price and closing price of the previous day.
Kill Zones:
ICT Kill-zones are specific timeframes in the forex market that highlight increased volatility and trading volume. The four primary Kill-zones – Asian, London, New York, and London Close – each offer unique trading opportunities for various trading pairs and markets.

Medium-term highs and lows are determined similarly: a medium-term high is a short-term high with lower short-term highs on either side of it, a medium-term low is a short-term low with higher short-term lows on either side of it. Long-term extremes are determined by the same principle, depending on the nearest medium-term highs and lows. Inside bars with a lower high and a lower low than that of the previous bar are not taken into account during the analysis. Thus, the short-term extremes are determined with a delay of at least one bar.

Using the indicator for technical analysis of the market

The position of an instrument's price relative to the indicator lines, as well as the position of the indicator lines relative to each other, gives an idea of the trend development, allows you to quickly find the support and resistance levels, determine the potential for the price to grow (fall) by long-term highs and lows. This indicator will be useful for creating automatic trading systems, as it allows you to quickly determine the trend direction programmatically.

Rebound of the price from a high or a low is a confirmation of a support or a resistance level presence and serves as a signal for opening deals at the next breakout or a rebound from this level. You can find additional information on entry signals in the book by Larry Williams.

The indicator does not redraw the lines once they are broken and does not reposition the medium-term and long-term highs (lows). If a short-term high (low) turns out to be higher (lower), it is possible to determine the trend based on the position of the indicator lines relative to each other. In some cases, when an outside bar is formed, the short0term low may be higher than the short-term high. This is not an error in the indicator logic, ad can serve as an entry point to a short or long position (see Figure 1). This principle is used in signals of the first type in the SRVector indicator.

With this system you have 3 reliable edges on your side:

\r\n

A strong trend (=high probability of continuation)
A deep pullback (=the price should not be there within a strong trend! Is it a stop hunt?)
A strong rejection of the pullback (=It was most probably only a stop hunt. Let's enter!)

\r\n

The rules for a short trade are:

\r\n

The thick blue and thick orange lines are strong below the price (strong downward trend indicated, more about the strength later)
At the same time there must be 2 thinner orange-red lines (they look like stairs) above the price (this confirms the price action within the trend)
The price then have to jump above the 2 thinner orange-red lines (or at least between them) and then must be rejected below the two thinner lines again. This forms a peak (an inverted V). The peak should consist of maximum 4 candles.
The entry signal is the move below the lower line of the 2 thinner orange-red lines.

The rules for a long trade are:

\r\n

The thick blue and thick orange lines are strong above the price (strong upward trend indicated)
At the same time there must be 2 thinner green lines (they look like stairs) below the price (this confirms the price action within the trend)

You will have an additional edge if you only trade the FIRST signal within a trend! The third screenshot shows what I mean with FIRST signal.

ATTENTION: You need 3800 candles on the chart for the orange line to be drawn! The big amount of candles (3800) is also the reason why the indicator only works for time frames lower than D1. Most brokers don't provide 10+ years of historic candles.

Parameters

candlesCalculated: the number of candles for which the orange and blue lines are calculated. A lower value uses less computer ressources
distanceInnerLine: the distance between the lines which looks like stairs expressed in multiples of the ATR-indicator
showBand: True = Yes, False = No - if true, then the black band is shown. The band is normally not needed. During backtesting it can be usefull.
xxx: is used for internal calculation. Must be 0. Don't touch/change this value! The indicator calls itself (recursive calls) with different values for xxx, yyy and zzz to calculate the values of different time frames. Therefore xxx, yyy and zzz must not be configured manually.

3. When the price breaks the support line between the 2nd and 4th support lines, then the price reverses and rises above the said support line.

4. Set SL at points S5 and TP equal to the distance between the entry point and the SL point.

Sell Entry

1. The opening price of the Week candlestick is less than CPP.

2. Identify the advantage in purchasing when CPP is greater than Resistance line 2.

3. When the price breaks the resistance line between the 2nd and 4th resistance lines, then the price has reversed down to stand below the said resistance line.

4. Set SL at points R5 and TP equal to the distance between the entry point and the SL point.

- Linee verticali sul grafico:

Inizio e fine di ogni sessione con linee verticali visualizzate sul grafico per una maggiore precisione e un'identificazione precisa delle candele.

Limitazione delle modalità di visualizzazione all'intervallo di tempo desiderato dall'utente:
