Uso rapido
Allega l'indicatore, scegli Smoothing Method e Smoothing Period (default 50), abilita ConfirmOnClosedBar se preferisci segnali confermati non repaint, abilita gli avvisi se necessario e salva il template.

Timeframe consigliati
Preferire H1-D1 per segnali affidabili. M5-M15 è possibile per lo scalping ma usare cautela e abilitare la conferma alla chiusura della candela.

Parametri chiave

Smoothing Period - controlla l'intensità dello smoothing (default 50). Valori maggiori producono risultati più lisci ma più lenti. Valori minori sono più reattivi ma più rumorosi.

Smoothing Method - 0 = None (raw Heiken-Ashi), 1 = EMA (Exponential MA), 2 = HULL (Hull MA).

Raccomandazione importante
Impostare Smoothing Method = 2 (HULL). Hull MA tipicamente reagisce più velocemente e offre maggiore morbidezza rispetto a EMA, riducendo il rumore mantenendo la sensibilità necessaria per catturare le inversioni. Metodo 0 (raw Heiken-Ashi) produce molti segnali rumorosi. Metodo 1 (EMA) è più liscio ma più lento. L'autore raccomanda HULL con Smoothing Period intorno a 50 come buon valore predefinito, poi regolare in base a timeframe e stile di trading.

Come funziona

Definisci l’inizio della sessione in UTC (es. 00:00 per un box giornaliero classico).
L’indicatore costruisce il range del giorno precedente [High–Low] e la Midline.
Nella sola sessione successiva, esegue la scansione per chiusure consecutive oltre High o Low.
Se è soddisfatta la regola della distanza minima, viene disegnata una freccia (su / giù) nella zona del breakout.

Inizia con ConsecutiveBars = 2 o 3 per avere breakout di qualità migliore.

Volumatic Fair Value Gaps (FVG) identifica e mantiene zone significative di squilibrio di prezzo e scompone il volume direzionale all’interno di ciascun gap. Il volume è campionato da un timeframe inferiore (M1 predefinito, selezionabile), suddiviso tra acquisti e vendite e reso come due barre percentuali la cui somma è 100%. Ogni FVG mostra inoltre, sul bordo destro, un’etichetta con il volume totale scambiato. Un gap è mitigato e rimosso quando il prezzo attraversa il bordo opposto, tramite chiusura (più severo) o contatto di massimi/minimi (più sensibile), secondo le impostazioni dell’utente.

Concetti e logica di base

Definizione di FVG: squilibrio di tre candele in cui il prezzo “salta” la contrattazione; lo strumento traccia gap rialzisti/ribassisti e li estende automaticamente a destra fino alla mitigazione.
Filtraggio per dimensione: mantiene i gap rilevanti tramite percentile di dimensione relativa; soglie minime/massime opzionali in punti si adattano a simbolo e timeframe.
Scomposizione del volume: aggrega il volume del TF inferiore nel tratto di ciascun gap, separa i contributi Buy/Sell e mostra due barre % in linea (somma = 100%) più il volume totale del gap.
Mitigazione: rimozione tramite chiusura oltre il bordo o contatto dello stoppino, come configurato.

Controlli di visualizzazione e parametri principali

Profondità di scansione: limita quanto indietro valutare le barre storiche (0 = tutta la storia).
Timeframe sorgente del volume: input a timeframe inferiore (M1 predefinito).
Tipi di gap: abilita indipendentemente FVG rialzisti e ribassisti.
Visual del volume: attiva/disattiva barre percentuali e etichetta del volume totale per gap.
Fresh vs. Touched: indica se un gap è intatto o è stato toccato dal prezzo.
Etichette ed estetica: configura dimensione etichette, colori delle zone, trasparenza, colore/trasparenza di mitigazione e (opzionalmente) etichetta del timeframe.
Estensione a destra: imposta quanto il corpo del gap si proietta a destra (0 = fino alla candela corrente).
Limiti di capacità: limita il numero massimo di FVG attivi per preservare la reattività.

Avvisi e interazione rapida

Eventi di avviso: su rilevamento, tocco e mitigazione dei gap.
Canali di consegna: messaggio a schermo, push, e-mail e suono (file audio selezionabile).
Scorciatoia da tastiera: scelta opzionale per mostrare/nascondere rapidamente i layer FVG quando il selettore di timeframe non è in uso.

Selettore timeframe opzionale

Selettore in-chart: mostra un pannello compatto con un elenco predefinito di timeframe.
Preset per timeframe: facoltativamente mantieni parametri separati per timeframe (percentile dimensione, punti min/max, visual volume, Fresh/Touched, etichette, capacità, colori, estensione destra, opzioni di mitigazione).
Layout del pannello: regola larghezza/altezza, posizione mobile vs fissa, colori di sfondo/testo, famiglia e dimensione del font.

Setup pratico (flusso consigliato)

Scegli la fonte del volume: inizia con M1 per il dettaglio; passa quando liquidità/volatilità suggeriscono un altro TF inferiore.
Restringi il filtro: aumenta il percentile di dimensione relativa e/o i punti minimi per focalizzarti su squilibri rilevanti; usa i punti massimi per escludere gap troppo ampi.
Seleziona la modalità di mitigazione:
- Basata sulla chiusura: più conservativa; rimuove solo quando la candela chiude oltre il bordo.
- Basata su high/low: più reattiva; rimuove quando lo stoppino tocca il bordo.
Leggi l’evidenza di ogni gap: interpreta le % Buy/Sell insieme al volume totale per valutare la partecipazione direzionale.
Mantieni l’efficienza visiva: regola trasparenza, estensione destra, limite di gap attivi e controllo sovrapposizioni per mantenere il grafico leggibile e performante.

For the indicator to work correctly, you need to open all symbols in the overview window.

It takes some time to download data for all currencies from the broker's server, so the chart may change until all the data is downloaded.

The indicator copies times, opens, and closes of the chosen Higher TF, draws vertical markers and optional rectangles for body fill, then (if enabled) copies Minor TF times and creates vertical markers only when they fall strictly between two adjacent HTF times. A periodic timer (Refresh Sec) updates drawings; unmanaged objects are removed to avoid clutter.

Performance Tips

Large Lookback + very low chart TF can create many objects → start with 100–200.

Keep Refresh Sec ≥ 3–5s unless you truly need faster updates.

❓FAQ

Q: Will it repaint?

A: HTF markers update only when the HTF bar opens/closes. The shapes reflect real HTF opens/closes—no signal logic, so “repaint” isn’t applicable.

Q: Does it slow my chart?

A: It’s lightweight, but creating many objects can impact very low TFs. Reduce Lookback, disable unused minors, or increase Refresh Sec.

Q: Works on offline/renko charts?

A: It relies on standard timeframe series. Custom/offline charts may not be supported by all brokers.

Come viene calcolato il volume

Ad ogni tick vengono registrati:

il volume in acquisto (Buy),
il volume in vendita (Sell),
il volume totale (Buy + Sell),
il delta volume (Buy − Sell).

Se il broker fornisce i volumi reali, l’indicatore utilizza quelli; altrimenti li stima automaticamente.

La stima avviene incrementando il volume:

in Buy, se l’ultimo prezzo è superiore al precedente;
in Sell, se l’ultimo prezzo è inferiore al precedente;
in entrambi, se il prezzo è invariato.

Quando l’ultimo prezzo non è disponibile (alcuni broker non lo trasmettono), è possibile scegliere se utilizzare:

il Bid,
la media tra Bid e Ask.

Rappresentazione grafica

Il volume viene rappresentato come una bolla colorata posizionata sul livello di prezzo corrispondente.

La dimensione della bolla è proporzionale al volume totale.
Il colore indica lo sbilanciamento tra pressione in acquisto e pressione in vendita.

🔹 Esempio pratico:

A 1.16000 → 6 Buy e 2 Sell → bolla piccola ma verde intenso (forte sbilanciamento).
A 1.16100 → 26 Buy e 22 Sell → bolla più grande ma verde tenue (alto volume, basso delta).

In questo modo, l’indicatore mostra sia dove avviene il volume, sia chi ha il controllo del mercato.

Gestione dei dati e storico

L’indicatore registra tutti i volumi tick-by-tick durante la sua esecuzione e li salva in un file CSV per poterli riutilizzare al cambio di timeframe, zoom o dopo il riavvio.

👉 Non ci sono dati storici precedenti all’avvio dell’indicatore, quindi i primi minuti di raccolta servono a “costruire” il profilo.

⚠️ Se il file diventa troppo grande, puoi cancellarlo manualmente (perderai lo storico, ma l’indicatore lo rigenererà automaticamente).

L'indicatore Fractal Dimension.mq5 analizza la serie temporale dei prezzi utilizzando un periodo configurabile dall'utente. Presenta il suo risultato in tre modi:

In una finestra separata:
- Mostra il valore attuale della dimensione frattale.
- Linee orizzontali di riferimento ogni 0,1, da 1,0 a 2,0.
- Zona rossa (> 1,5): mercato laterale, non consigliato operare.
- Zona verde (< 1,5): mercato tendenziale. Il verde diventa più chiaro quanto più basso è il valore, indicando maggiore forza della tendenza.
Nella finestra principale del grafico:

⚙️ Parametri di Ingresso

Periodo: Numero di candele utilizzate per calcolare la dimensione frattale.
Consiglio: Regola questo valore in base all'asset e al timeframe. Un periodo troppo breve può generare rumore; uno troppo lungo può causare ritardi.

💡 Consiglio chiave: Non esiste un \"periodo universale\". Deve essere ottimizzato per ogni asset:

Asset tecnologici in tendenza prolungata (es. NVIDIA): funzionano meglio con periodi medi (10–20).
Asset volatili o laterali (es. XRPUSD): prova periodi più brevi (4–8).

🎯 Interpretazione e Uso Strategico

✅ Operare in Tendenza

Ingresso: Quando la dimensione frattale scende sotto 1,5.
Uscita: Quando risale sopra 1,5.
Nota importante: Se si utilizza un robot (EA), tenere presente che il segnale viene eseguito all'apertura della candela successiva. Per evitare ritardi:
