Apri profilo MQL5I am an experienced software developer with more than three decades of software development experience and over eight years of hands-on development with MetaTrader 5 and MQL5.
My MQL5 work covers the development, modification and debugging of Expert Advisors, custom indicators and trading-system components, including multi-timeframe systems, technical-indicator integration, statistical calculations, trade and position management, risk and position-sizing logic, alerts, economic-calendar/news integration, historical analysis and backtesting tools.
I am comfortable working from a specification as well as working with an existing MQL5 codebase that needs to be understood, modified, extended or debugged. My experience includes both relatively focused components and larger, multi-component trading systems.
I also have experience with MQL4/MT4 development , although MQL5/MT5 is my primary focus.
My approach is software-engineering based: understand the existing architecture and trading logic, implement the requested behaviour carefully, and test the resulting code rather than treating an EA or indicator as simply a collection of trading rules.
