I have been programming Expert Advisors, trading robots and custom indicators for
MetaTrader 5 and MetaTrader 4 — and cBots for cTrader — since 2009, which is more than
15 years.

Computer scientist (Dipl.-Inform., TU Ilmenau), over 30 years in software development
overall, active in automated trading since 2006. ISTQB Certified Tester.

• Turning trading strategies into Expert Advisors from a written specification
• Custom indicators with alerts, buffers and multi-timeframe evaluation
• MQL4 to MQL5 migration, including the move from order to position logic
• Porting TradingView Pine Script to MQL5 and MQL4

realistic spreads and commissions
• Money management, trailing stop, break-even, news and session filters

How I work
Before coding, the strategy is written down: entry and exit logic, position sizing, risk
limits, and behaviour on gaps, weekends and disconnects. That specification is also the
acceptance criterion. You receive the complete commented source code and a short
reference for every input parameter.

Besides private traders, I work for asset managers and licensed investment firms. For
these clients I also supply test records, change logs and the documentation their
supervisory framework requires.

I do not develop trading strategies and make no performance claims. The strategy comes
from the client and remains their property; all rights to the result stay with the client.

Languages: German (native), English.

I joined MQL5 in 2025; the development work itself goes back to 2009.
