Hello everyone, I’m Luca, an Italian algorithmic-trading developer based in London. My interest in trading and financial markets began during my university studies, where my first economics modules sparked a lasting curiosity about how markets behave.

Like many traders, I began with discretionary trading without success. With a solid IT background, I later discovered algorithmic trading and the MetaTrader 5 / MQL5 ecosystem. It brought together analytical thinking, software development, and market research—turning a long-standing interest into a full-time focus.

My experience includes roles in fund-management and banking environments. Today, I design and develop Expert Advisors, indicators, and trading tools for MetaTrader 5, with emphasis on transparent logic, practical risk controls, rigorous testing, and continuous refinement. My research is informed by market study and by traders whose work has shaped the field, including Larry Williams, Tom Hougaard, and George Soros.

Trading can involve long hours of independent work behind charts and screens.
