To illustrate this, think of the trader as a surfer, and each trade as a wave. The Chill Trader is like the surfer who catches the wave at the perfect moment. In traditional trading, traders often miss opportunities because they’re waiting for specific candle patterns or market conditions, leading to poorly timed entries. The Chill Trader eliminates this stress, automating the entry process while you focus on your overall strategy. 📌 What is the Magic Number input for?

The VolumenFijo input tells the Expert Advisor the volume or lot size you want to use when opening your trades. You can choose the lot size according to your preference, but always remember to consider your risk management to avoid trading with a volume that doesn't match your risk tolerance.

📌 What is the BESwitch input for?
The BESwitch input is used to activate Break Even when opening trades. In future versions, there could be an option for users to select how many points a trade needs to move before activating Break Even.

📌 What is the TPMultiplicadorBarraMartillo?

The TPMultiplicadorBarraMartillo multiplies the distance of the hammer candle wick to adjust the trailing stop loss. For example, if the hammer candle wick is 10 points and the input value is 3 (default), the trailing stop loss will be 30 points. This distance is applied to the opening price of the candle following the hammer, when the trade is opened.

Risk management is key to being profitable. With trailing stop losses that are small, like 10 points, you will need a higher win rate to be profitable. With larger trailing stop losses, like 40 points, you can be profitable with a lower win rate.

If break even is set to TRUE, once the price moves the specified distance, break even will activate at 10 points (from the previous example). This protects your trades from losses, as in the case of a price reversal, the stop will adjust to the entry price. In the worst case, you won’t hit your \"TP\", but you will avoid a loss from a reversal to the initial stop loss.

📌 What kind of hammer candles does The Chill Trader detect?
The Chill Trader detects hammer candles with a long lower wick and a small or nonexistent upper wick. The parameters are set to avoid confusion with Doji candles. Although customizable settings may be considered in the future, for now, the parameters are fixed.

Who is Toby Crabel?

Toby Crabel is a self-made millionaire commodities trader who has avoided having a losing year from 1991 to 2002. Among other achievements, he wrote a great trading book entitled Day Trading with Short-term Price Patterns. Reading this book is highly recommended, before trading using this indicator.

The Opening Range Breakout (ORB) Trading Strategy

Using this strategy, the trader places a buy stop just above the open price plus the Stretch and a sell stop just below the open price minus the Stretch. The first stop triggered enters the trader into the trade and the other stop becomes the protective stop.

Crabel's research shows that the earlier in the trading session the entry stop is hit, the more likely the trade will be profitable at the close. A market movement that kicks off a trend quickly in the current trading session could add significant profit to a trader's position by the close and should be considered for a multi-day trade.

Extending Crabel's research results it is obvious that as time passes and we are not filled early on, then the risk increases and it becomes prudent to reduce the size of the position during the day. Trades filled towards the end of the day carry the most risk and the later in the day the trade is filled, the less likely the trader will want to carry that trade overnight.

Opening Range Breakout Preference (ORBP) Trading Strategy

An ORBP trade is a one sided Opening Range Breakout (ORB) trade. If other technical indicators show a strong trend in one direction, then the trader will exercise a preference for the direction in which to trade the ORB trade. A stop to open a position would be placed on the side of the trend only and if filled a protective stop would then be placed.

The calculation of where to place the \"stop to open\" would be the same as that for the ORB trade: For longs, the Open price plus the Stretch and for shorts the Open price minus the Stretch.

Parameters

The only functional parameters of the indicator are the following.

Strech Timeframe: The timeframe from which to calculate the stretch (the default is D1).
Strech Period: The period for the SMA used to calculate the stretch (the default is 10).
Moving Average Period: The period used to calculate the average stretch.
Max. History Bars: Amount of past bars to evaluate. Decrease it to speed up the indicator.

where 100pt is the renkobox size in points, EURUSD_M1_renko is the custom symbol name (for both see description below), and 10 000 is total number of generated boxes (if the EA is running the very first time, this is actual number of renko bars, but if it continues from some previous results, for example, after the terminal restart, the number of new boxes can be a few, because only most recent, missing boxes are generated).

RenkoChartsDemo opens one renko chart for you, but you can open more.

\r\n

RenkoChartsDemo generates custom symbol quotes, thus you may open many charts with it and apply different trading EAs and indicators. It makes no sense to run multiple RenkoChartsDemo with the same work symbol/timeframe/renkobox size. It is not allowed to run multiple RenkoChartsDemo with the same custom symbol name.

Due to technical limitations in MetaTrader 5, renko charts can demonstrate strange behavior under some circumstances. You may find details in the Comments section of the full version.

distance stop buy from 2 to about 0.00005 (5 Pipettes)

stop loss from 1500 to about 30 (Points)

please test the settings first in a demo account. Save your settings in a.set file.

Learning to use

Just practice the tool in a demo account. Be aware that there are \"one click orders\", which might be very dangerous.

Before you Buy/Sell you have to select the volume by clicking on the blue buttons. You cannot buy/sell, if the volume is set

to 0. By default the volume is reset after 50 ticks to zero for security reasons.

If you click \"Buy\" without selecting a volume you get the following message: Buy() method failed. Return code=10014. Code description: invalid volume

Inputs

Funds at morning (enter your funds when you start trading)
Max allowed contracts (if you have more than the allowed number app will say \"too many contracts\"
Max daily win (you can enter your maximal win, so that you know when to stop trading, think of euphoria!)
distance stop buy (distance from ask for stopp buy or limit buy)
distance stop sell (distanc from bid for stopp sell or limit sell)
Stop Loss *100 (Stop Loss in points, eg. Dow = 15 points = 1500)
Take Profit * 100 (Take profit in points, eg. Dow = 60 points = 6000)

Issues

Applicaton may start only 1 to 2 minutes after installation

I use this tool for about one year, there are no serious issues. Be sure to test the application in a demo account first.

For security reasons the contract number is reset after 50 ticks (default), sound says \"contracts reset to zero\". You have to select the contract number again after that.

Be sure to have the chart drawn in the background. The chart in the foreground could prevent you from clicking the buttons. Also be sure to have \"Auto Trading\" to on.

The tool does not prevent you from losing money! Just be careful, the quick clicks might lead you to overtrading.
