Julio Martins Siqueira

I’m Julio Martins Siqueira, founder of P95 Strategies and a quantitative researcher based in Brazil.

After working as a broker, I chose to focus on the technical side of investing: studying mathematics, statistics and technology to develop my own trading strategies. I have spent more than nine years studying quantitative methods, and I develop, maintain and trade P95’s models with my own capital.

My current focus is automated strategies for Brazilian Ibovespa mini futures (WIN) on B3. My research combines historical testing, cross-validation and observation in live trading to examine how models behave under different conditions. I believe in testing ideas against data, understanding their limitations and revising them when the evidence calls for it.

Sport has been an important part of my life, teaching me the value of preparation, discipline and accountability. Those principles also shape my work. P95 is a long-term project rooted in my desire to build something meaningful for my family and bring quantitative strategies closer to individual investors.
