XAUUSD Long Gold vs US Dollar

XAUUSD H4 — Bullish Breakout-Retest Scenario Toward 4,750

XAUUSD has advanced impulsively from its late-July lows after what I interpret as the completion of a complex W–X–Y correction near the 4,000 area. Price is now testing an important H4 resistance level around 4,607. This is a conditional breakout scenario, not an immediate market entry. Confirmation: An H4 candle should close decisively above 4,607. Retest scenario: After confirmation, a pullback into the 4,550–4,580 zone that holds as support would strengthen the bullish continuation case. Targets: TP1: 4,680 TP2: 4,750 Invalidation: A sustained H4 close below 4,480 would invalidate this bullish setup and require the market structure to be reassessed. If price fails to close above 4,607, or if the retest zone fails to hold, the long setup should be avoided. This analysis is educational
