AVAX price is trading around $6.44 as AVAX continues to consolidate near the lower end of its multi-month downtrend. While the broader structure remains under pressure, price is attempting to establish a base around the $6.00-$6.30 region.
Brave New Coin data shows that Avalanche is trading at around $6.44, up about 0.60% in the last 24 hours, with a market cap of close to $2.78 billion and roughly $158 million in daily trading volume.
AVAX Attempting a Base Around $6.00
The immediate technical focus is the support structure forming around $6.00-$6.30. AVAX price has spent much of the past two months consolidating near this area after falling sharply from above $10, with repeated attempts by sellers failing to produce a sustained breakdown.
Crypto analyst Abdullah highlighted the $6.26 region as the immediate level to hold. The chart shows several reactions from the same area, suggesting buyers are still defending the current floor despite the broader bearish structure.

However, losing this support would weaken the developing base considerably. The next major downside area shown on the chart sits between approximately $5.10 and $3.83, making the current range particularly important for the Avalanche price outlook.
Descending Structure Setting a $15 Breakout
A broader daily chart from Clifton presents a more constructive long-term scenario. AVAX price remains inside a major descending structure that has controlled price since the decline from above $35, but price is now trading near the lower boundary where downside momentum has started to slow.
The analyst believes AVAX price could be preparing for a significant bullish move if price can finally escape this long-running structure. His chart projects a potential move from the current $6 region towards approximately $14.90, representing an upside expansion of more than 130%.

That target remains dependent on confirmation. AVAX price would first need to move decisively away from the $6 base and reclaim the descending resistance line before a larger trend reversal towards $10 and eventually $14-$15 becomes more realistic.
Network Volume Through Avalanche Surpasses $1.6 Billion
While price remains subdued, activity on the Avalanche network is showing considerably stronger growth. Data shared by Alex shows Axyim has processed more than $1.6 billion in cumulative volume through Avalanche.

The growth has also remained consistent rather than coming from a single spike. According to the data, monthly Axyim volume has remained above $130 million since January 2026, while cumulative transfer volume has continued climbing throughout the year. Axyim is using Avalanche infrastructure for real-time funding, post-pay settlement, and stablecoin-powered financial activity. Continued growth in this area provides a fundamental signal that network usage is expanding even while AVAX itself trades near multi-year price lows.
AVAX & Its Rising Economic Activity
Broader ecosystem data reinforces the same trend. Research highlighted by MSB Intel estimates that Avalanche has generated approximately $954.8 million in on-chain economic production.
The figure is notable because AVAX price remains more than 95% below its historical high, while activity across the underlying network continues to produce meaningful economic value. This creates a divergence between token performance and ecosystem development.
For AVAX, stronger network activity alone does not guarantee a price recovery. However, sustained usage can provide a stronger fundamental base if technical momentum eventually turns and capital starts rotating back into the ecosystem.

AVAX Price Needs to Reclaim Higher Resistance
The current $6.00-$6.30 region remains the most important support area for AVAX. As long as this base continues to hold, the possibility of a larger accumulation phase remains open, particularly after months of sideways trading near the bottom of the broader descending structure.

The first meaningful bullish confirmation would come from a breakout above the nearby descending resistance. From there, the $7.00-$7.50 region becomes the first area to watch, followed by the previous structure around $9-$10. Clearing those levels would strengthen the argument for the larger $14-$15 target shown on the long-term chart.
On the downside, a decisive break below $6 would expose $5.10. If selling accelerates through that level, the broader demand region extending towards $3.83 could become relevant.
Final Thoughts: Can Avalanche Recover Towards $15 Highs?
AVX price remains technically weak on the higher timeframe, but the $6 region is beginning to look increasingly important as AVAX attempts to establish a base after its prolonged decline. Holding this area and eventually breaking the descending trendline would be the first meaningful sign that the larger structure is changing.
At the same time, expanding on-chain volumes and nearly $1 billion in estimated on-chain economic production show that Avalanche network activity has continued growing despite weak price performance. If AVAX can combine those fundamentals with a confirmed technical breakout, the recovery case is towards $10 and eventually $14-$15.
